Active Teaching and Learning Approaches in Schools
Inability to children to read
It's a child centered approach that puts the children at the center of their own learning, builds on their experiences and ignites their thinking.

Evaluations of the Active Teaching and Learning Approaches has been done and show that it has a positive impact on the children
The evaluation shows that it can be replicated and should be included in the curriculum for training teachers.
The Active Teaching and Learning Approaches in Schools need to be strengthened on Zambia so that it can be included in the modules for training primary school teachers which are critical to make children read.

1. To what extend do traditional teaching methods impact children's ability to read?
2. To what extend do child centered teaching methods impact children's ability to read?

The desired output is: Children are now able to read using the Active Teaching and Learning Approaches in Schools
