Mindful Health & Spiritual Reclamation
The challenge is that not many people in our Native American ways know how to properly exercise their right and being with our Creator. Through colonization these rites of sound health and ceremonies that served the people were taken away or distorted over time. Imposed dogmatic religions have come by force and created confusion and heartache, where there was once spiritual knowing and significance.
Why the world is as sick as it is today is because people have lost or do not know how to properly exercise or tap into their spiritual body, without institutions imposing their will. Helping the people to tap back into their own spiritual nature can help bring balance, healing, mental fortitude, and inspiration in someone's life. Everyone we can see has been affected by this in one way or another. Our ancestors and tribal economy was a map to living in balance and integrity with the world.
I think when we look at tribal economy and governance. The underlying glue that helps greatly with community was their own health of the good mind, spiritual values, and ceremonies. I think the solution lies in elevating our people's spirit through these ways coupled with meditation, prayer, and healthy means of engaging with the world.
The solution simply is using traditional values, mindfulness, and forms of ceremony to help people reclaim and heal themselves. It goes to say with the adage of, how can we help someone else or a world in need when we have not properly helped or healed ourselves. Doing this first and foremost, can help create proper leaders and good-minded people to help with the larger collective issues that we all face.
Through our organization we have helped people in their own fortification of their spirit by exercising our will with Creator's will through meditation, prayer, the land, and forms of ceremonies that can serve us. Learning about how we can be of service through innerstanding our own cosmic and innate nature of self.
I think this solution targets everyone looking and seeking to better themselves. Especially regarding conscious mindsets on the reservation. I believe it also speaks into prophecy where we are not just trying to target one specific group of people, but rather the whole Tree of Life, as it takes us all to turn things around. I know many holy people have spoke to this. How all great nations would come together in this time. However at least starting with our people is at least making ground work and being able to relate that to other indigenous communities around the world, I know as I've seen can be impactful. Especially where many people out there pity or feel sorry for a genocide culture. I believe bouncing back in a strong way as nurturing the way of the good mind and our spirits will not only help, but be an example to something greater.
I think the solution of feeding people's minds and spirit will not only address their needs and help them, but set us up for a better way of addressing the world at large.
This serves all indigenous communities. And I believe our story at Tree of light says it all. For almost the last decade now, we have been going around with different elders sharing their message and medicine. Helping to feed everyone's spirit, but see a real necessity on reservations and in mutual indigenous communities. We have partnered and worked with mutual people doing the work as well, such as with the organization of drumming sounds, them being another great example. We have worked with Natives that either help run or run their own drug and rehab facility. Also we have led many groups to Sacred sites and to other indigenous around the world that share in their spiritual and ceremonial ways. This and more has proven to be an effective solution to each targeted audience, plus many more amazing references to speak to.
With the potential funding of what you guys are offering, we are also looking to launch a platform called Indigicore, by where we are able to effectively reach the youth on reservations, or applied groups to bring to different indigenous or elder communities to help them with their organization or community needs. By doing this the elders and community will be able to teach down what they know, and everyone learns and gets help where it's needed. Not to mention raising the spirit of the youth and their elders before passing on. We have also talked about using this model specifically in reservations to help them on a level of permaculture, community building, and spiritual fortification.
I would say we are well positioned because we have been doing this work now for almost a decade, having built accreditation everywhere we have gone. Getting by only with donations and the good graces of people. Creating an example of this by selflessly going out there in the world to be of service. Also we have traveled around the world extensively which has been the best form of currency and education, by which to engage with such pertinent solutions such as elevating and bringing conscious awareness to spiritual, mental, and physical health.
In our travels we have submerged ourselves into each culture to get to know and understand the environment and people better. By doing this we have created an extensive network of community and indigenous relations by which we work with and help. Our team being led by the example in use of our Iroquois three pillars which come down to the ways of the good mind, proper reasoning, righteousness of which by we show up in the world, power and strength in unity, and by the 7th generational principle. This design being utilized within people's own spiritual recognition and practices.
- Promote culturally informed mental and physical health and wellness services for Indigenous community members.
- United States
- Scale: A sustainable enterprise working in several communities or countries that is focused on increased efficiency
Mostly we have been doing this out of our pocket and as I mentioned through donation and the good graces of others. I believe walking this path as we have in trust and in faith for almost a decade speaks to our organization and helping to solve or bring light to spiritual and health matters in the world, that we can all agree is needed. Already things seem to be coming together for us in this way, and I believe SOLVE, would help in lighting this fire! So that it can be more effective and solid in our organizational expansion.
We also love to create bridges anywhere we can, more than applying it's always great to get to know other good-minded organizations and people out there doing the work, and trying their hardest to help. Unifying and coming together all our relations is important. Beyond applying for the MIT solve, we are interested in what you all have going on.
- Business Model (e.g. product-market fit, strategy & development)
- Financial (e.g. accounting practices, pitching to investors)
- Public Relations (e.g. branding/marketing strategy, social and global media)
Adam was raised on the Shoshone Bannock tribal land on Pocatello and Fort Hall reservation in Idaho. Therefore he understands the consciousness of reservation life, and the needs in these areas and other such indigenous lands around the world that he has had the privilege to travel and work with. Having indigenous community ties to those in South africa, New Zealand, and Central and South America.
Strategizing and learning with such indigenous communities has brought clarity and refinement in the work that Tree of light does and engages with. Recognizing next steps and motives pertaining to everything talked about here.
The problem is that we don't have enough people first and foremost connected with their health and spirit. Enough heart-centered and health conscious caring people alone could change the dynamic of a culture and let alone the world. The positive impacts from this would be resounding. A good example of this would be in our own tribal doctrine connected with the Peacemaker and his story that help to comprise the Six Nations of the Iroquois confederacy.
The innovation lies in helping our own people heal and come back home to their salvation of spirit within. This is the catalyst that helps to bring about more kindness and caring world. Starting with the people and addressing their spiritual and health needs so that they can make a positive impact in the world.
Traveling I have seen too many people overlook this because the world shows them to stay busy and focused on a career, and when this happens there then becomes not enough time for self-reflection and healing within our mind, body, Spirit. Re-innovating this can be life-changing for our people. Help heal generations before, and pave a good path for our future seven generations.
To help revolutionize the way we approach ourselves and others in the world. By helping people connect back with their own spiritual nature, ceremony, natural remedies, and advocating for natural methods of mental and physical solutions.
Impact goals come when you trust the process and put yourself out there, this is what we have found in our walkabout. At first we didn't know what might come about going out there and sharing the importance of culture, spiritual based practices, and mindfulness. Since then it has been blessing after blessing walking this path. The first 5 years started in learning this process, and learning from our elders, and how we can make an impact helping others to come back to their own spiritual knowing. The last 5 years has formulated a premise by which we are able to now effectively go out in the world and engage, and help people reclaim their self sovereignty through ancestral, mindful, and spiritual values. The next 5 years as I already see, is expanding and creating a foundational means by which we can create a mental and spiritual center for others to come learn for themselves, heal, fortify the mind, and exercise their spirit. The great thing is that we see and have the support to go in this direction now, and Im most positive by the next 5 years we will be doing this and helping to create community and heal communities such as on the reservation. Helping to regenerate and rectify the prophesized tree of life.

The growth by which we have witnessed doing this work. I think speaks volumes by which we have been able to maneuver and navigate, not in holding a title or by some rich investment opportunity that has found us. Rather than being able to do this only by donations. The fact of being able to do that alone and for almost a decade now still blows my mind, and has others believing.
Every year we have seen a growth in people attending our SpiritQuest's and events that we host. Every year more and more we are invited to such conscious-based festivals and events by sharing in specific workshops or ceremonies. Every year we are working with more elders and creating indigenous partnerships. Since becoming a non-profit organization, more has opened up to us, but truly the growth is in our story alone.
The most effective method of change, I have found in doing this work isn't by trying to convince or talk someone into caring about their spirit and health. But rather being that mere reflection for them. Allowing others who have been impacted by us to share their own story. By coming to the land, doing ceremony, gathering around the fire with our elders, and visiting such sacred sites or places that helps in speaking to their soul. Therein lies the change, when you can effectively bring people back into a state of health and spiritual sense, and knowing of themselves.
Therefore I would say our solution has already had an impact in the world, and continues to do so. If needed I can also share and give more references. Probably the most rewarding thing in doing this is witnessing and seeing the change around us, as we do this work!
We would say the core technology that helps to power our solution, is Spirit Creator source energy first and foremost. Ancestral acknowledgment and mapping, and forms of ceremony, and psychology that help to build our metaphysical architecture of being.
Biotechnology and mindfulness has been our core solution in all of this, after all manufactured technology outside of ourselves is only a true reflection of our own innate spiritual being. However we also use outside means of technology as an advantage to help promote and put ourselves out there so people can find us. I feel lucky and grateful in this way that those in our team help with this greatly. I know if also considered they could add more to this topic as well, as some of those working with us are in the field of block and hollochain, which is looking to be the new frontier of technology.

The diversity within our group I believe is in the name itself of Tree of Light, named after our creation story. Also not to mention I have found that the work my brother and I have done in creating Tree of light has been a bridge from the contemporary world to the indigenous world of things. Which I know many people have found to be meaningful and impacting for themselves on both sides of the bridge.
We have recognized this division between the contemporary world and indigenous world, due to many things within the colonial mindset. However if we are truly to heal and bridge gaps of division, it takes us all. So being able to be a bridge in this way, I have seen to be most effective in healing and addressing such topics by bringing all nations together in such a mindful way. At Tree of light we are all about inclusion and equity, just as our ancestors were within their own tribal economy and governance. Being able to educate and share to people about tribal economy and governance, while addressing the contemporary things in our world that serve us, has been eye-opening and resounding. Us at Tree of light can see a new and hopeful way of things in the world by bridging worlds here.
Our business model is based on the services we do and provide with four key areas of focus, including:
education, community development, healing and wellness, and regenerative systems development. We do this by creating sacred gatherings, educational curriculum, and bridging international networks into partnership, stewardship, volunteerism, and coherence.
This is an ever expanding model in the above areas, finding it hard to call a business. Rather we like to approach it as a sacred economy in which we are looking to help reestablish in the world of things. However we do have some services and products that we use to also help us with funding and financing. Some of those products include smudging sprays, crystals and stones, Cacao we support from villages in Guatemala and Colombia, handmade drums, feather fans, and beadwork. All being products from close family or other such indigenous communities around the world.
We also provide such services in the way of doing clearings, healings, intuitive guidance work, and different spiritual and ancestral workshops.
- Organizations (B2B)
The plan as of now is to continue to try and work on getting grants and those financial awards that seem presently opportune for us, and keeping up to date with present people and organizational circles looking to possibly fund us in the near future as well. I believe once we are able to prove and show for ourselves what we are capable of bringing together in the above mentioned, more resources and funding than will continue to arrive.
We have miraculously come this far by donations and the good graces of others over this past decade, and feel so held in that space. We don't plan to stop doing this work, even if it means continuing at the pace we are at. We desire to be of service in this way and feel that an ever evolving world wants the same thing. One thing we have learned on this path is the more honest and authentic we are in showing up, the more impacting that is on top of the work. People we have learned would rather help fund and help resource such projects and work. We are just getting going now, growing pains have helped us along the way. Now we are ready for something more.
Goals of reaching financial sustainability include continuing to do community and group work in the sense of the SpiritQuest gatherings we do, community work we are invited into, and such conscious events that we host or help with. Including continuing to provide such products and services as mentioned above. The revenue in this alone has grown year by year, which we have recently noticed.
It also has been a journey up to now for getting ourselves properly set up, as far as filing and applying for grants, and reaching out to such financial investors. We feel as if now we are just getting our feet under us in this way. Feeling more comfortable in our approach and organizational model, and to reach out and connect for such opportunities as this.
