White Eagle Exports
Poverty is a severe social problem among many First Nations. According to the 2001 Census, the average individual income of the total population was $29,769, but only $19,132 for an individual of Aboriginal ancestry, and a staggering $14,616 for an Aboriginal living on reserve (Mendelson, 2006)
The Wapi Kihew Attention To Creative Solutions is embarking on an export project that aims to promote Indigenous products and culture to new international markets. This project will involve partnering with Indigenous communities and social enterprises, such as Stephanie Eagletail Designs and the Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre’s social enterprise initiative, to showcase their products at international trade shows and events.
The export project is a paramount opportunity for the Wapi Kihew Attention To Creative Solutions to promote Indigenous products, culture, and entrepreneurship to new international markets. This project is not only designed to create export revenue, economic opportunities, and sustainability for Indigenous communities but also to promote respect for their culture and skill.
Target market(s) (list specific countries): New Zealand, Italy, Germany and Dubai

Delanie Passer has held several roles in First Nation communities, including Director of Operations and Health Director. In 2021 he worked with Indigenous Service Canada and opened a Covid Isolation Centre for $1.8 million for The Ridge Wellness project, a First Nation and Metis initiative. He has taken the time to learn the traditional way of life from Elders and healers from all over the globe. Locally, he has built strong relationships with our ceremonial leaders, who have taught him the holistic approach to Indigenous health, culture, language, and its connection to the land and the cosmos. He has worked with several Indigenous non-profits as well as business focused organisations.

We are using a social enterprise from the Saskatoon Indian Metis Friendship Centre where our Urban Indigenous population makes products. The membership is primarily from the vulnerable sectors. The products produced are by people who have suffered trauma and have now found healing in making traditional products. This model will provide the vulnerable population with a sense of identity and purpose and give them the skill sets and business acumen to build confidence.
