We plan to reach out to Indigenous peoples and offer a feeling of trust in our activities and provide clarity that Cowboy Ted is a cowboy and also an Indian as his maternal grandmother was a card- carrying member of the Algonquin Tribe
We provide on-line books and resources to encourage health and wellness in a less threatening environment than being on-site in an environment of distrust that has been commonly experienced among Indigious peoples when health and wellness suggestions are presented by health educators who are considered outside the Indigenous peoples population
Kids and families of Indigenous peoples will be our target population and include members living on and off reservations in Canada and the USA
We are enlisting the assistance and support of recognized leaders of Title VI Education organizations in states in the USA
We will reach to as many Indiginous people as possible and target our outreach to Tribes and organizations tgat support Tribes in the USA and Canada
I have been hosting wellness programs with Tribes and leaders for over 20 years and have established relationships with elders and state health departments that serve Tribal lands and will seek introductions and referrals for our wellness resources at www.cowboyted101.com to be shared with as many Indigenous people as possible and also point out the fact that my maternal grandmother was a member of the Algonquin Tribe
