Plate 101 is a platform (mobile app) through which we are connecting home chefs with the potential customers to share their meals and start earning.
We are engaging them in the economy and giving them financial freedom through our shared economy model. Our vision is to give financial freedom, recognition and self-worth to women and make them learn self-reliability and self-sustainability.
Moreover, there are a lot of people living away from their homes (students, employees, working couples) and they are bound to eat unhealthy food. So there is a huge demand of home-made hygienic food with affordable prices.
So basically Plate 101 is a connector and bridging the gap between consumers and homepreneurs.
Right now we are operational in Islamabad, Pakistan. We have EMPOWERED more than 200 women and delivered 20,000+ orders with the Gross merchandise revenue of 30,000 USD.
In many countries, women are not given equal opportunities to earn and to live a better life. Housewives/moms are most inactive members in contributing in economy. They face various problems like:
1. limitations in accessing opportunities
2. lack of exposure
3. lack of education
4. hesitant to adapt technology
5. On the other end, hygienic food availability is a big problem prevailing in many countries. According to WHO, more than 200 diseases ranging from diarrhoea to cancer are caused due to unhealthy food. People who don't have healthy options they are bound to eat unhygienic food and no one can afford expensive food on daily basis.
Women with less or almost no opportunities.If there are few options available to earn from the comfort of home they demand a specific skill or a degree. We are targeting specifically those women who don't know how run her Facebook page for business.
In our country and some others, there are social-cultural barriers for women. we are creating a platform for women through which they can earn and take part in economy without breaking cultural norms. Thousands of women want to scale up in food business and we are creating value for them.
Furthermore, providing the hygienic home-cooked food to the people who need it most with affordable prices.

Our unique business model offer customers to have same food which home chefs have cooked for their family and its ready to eat food and instantly available. So when a home chefs ready food for her own family she shared few plates through our app.
We are only one in Pakistan who are Geo location based means one can see what is cooked in your nearby homes and you can also self pickup your food.
We are only one in Pakistan to have more than 200 women home chefs on board and trained. Currently we are operational just in central Islamabad and plan to scale it all cross Pakistan.
Our unique model is like by our 2000 consumers that is why we have already delivered over 20000 orders till date with over 70 to 80 orders per day.
Plate 101 is a mobile application available on iOS and Android. We have developed a comprehensive food ordering and selling platform with integrated delivery system.
Geo-tagging has been added to facilitate our customers so that they order food from nearby places and save time and delivery cost.
It's a user friendly app that allows our home chefs to sell their food with just few clicks.
We have built our own Management Information System software that keeps the records of the following:

Women Empowerment:
Current: We have empowered more than 200 women in only one city and we are planning to expand in all major cities of Pakistan within one year.
For next one year: we want to increase this number to at least 5000 women in other major cities who will be providing home-cooked food online.
Next five years: 50% of Pakistan's population are women. We will empower as many women as we can by introducing new features to our app.

Next five years: Online food ordering trend is tremendously increasing in Pakistan and globally. In next five years, we plan to gain the major share of market of online food ordering.
Our first goal is to accelerate and scale up our model in all major cities of Pakistan with potential customers.
Moreover, enabling our home chefs to run a cloud kitchen to address a larger market and helping them to scale up in the food business.
For the next year:
Major barriers that exist for us are:
1. limited financial resources for scaling up
2. Right now we have our own fleet for delivery but we need an effective and efficient logistic partner to expand. or we need financial resources to make our own larger fleet to cover the potential areas of Pakistan.
We are looking for collaboration very keenly with delivery service like Careem delivery or Uber eats and mark our existence in the market on a national level and then internationally.
If collaboration take place with any efficient partner, we will expand it to many cities simultaneously.

If we talk about the delivery, we have our own fleet of 8 riders who are delivering orders in Islamabad.
Noor us Saba (CEO/Founder):
Noor us Saba has done MS in management sciences. She has 5 years’ experience in financial blogging about the US stock exchanges and financial markets. Noor came up with the idea of
Plate 101 because she actually realized the problems of housewives and women staying at home. Now she has been leading Plate 101 for last 1 year.
Zeeshan Shabbir (Co-founder/COO):
Zeeshan Shabbir runs his own software house for last 9 years with the name of Brilliant Innovators. Zeeshan Shabbir is also Co-founder and manages overall operations at Plate 101. Zeeshan has provided all the technical support in the development process of Plate 101.
Tathir Zehra (Brand & Communication Executive):
Syeda Tathir Zehra Zaidi is the Brand and communication Executive at Plate101. She did her MPhil in Mass Communication. For last one year she has been giving her services to Plate101 and manages all the communication with all stakeholders to boost it further and to make it a customer loveable product.
Muhammad Ahsan Zeb (VP Product):
Muhammad Ahsan Zeb is the VP product at Plate101. He provides order and structure and process to a chaotic situation, and keep things directionally on track. He is also CTO at Brilliant Innovators and Founder at Agennx.com. An Experienced Chief Technology Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in Digital Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Graphic Designing, Buildbox, Google Adsense and Analytics, Unity, WordPress, and Business Intelligence.
