Kwasu Virtual Reality Tours
The increase of the tourism footprint that leads to climate change and degradation at sites and the inability of certain factions of society to experience tourism such as the disabled.
By taking footage of various tourism attractions, users are then presented with virtual reality goggles which they can use to access the footage from a central location accessible to all.
It helps reduce climate change which is affecting the current population and may endanger the next generations and also enables tourism access and education to more people.
We are located in the most populous city in Zambia and a tourist destination not only for locals but for international people who appreciate and want to learn about the Zambian culture and its attractions. To better serve people, research is being done on accessibility needs and collection of video footage from susceptible destinations prone to degradation.

Engage different stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Key customers are local or foreign tourists who are walk-in customers and schools. Apart from gaining a touristic experience in a climate friendly way, they will be introduced to latest technology on the market. Tourism institutions/attractions will also be approached for marketing deals to generate sales, as they will require customers to still visit their institutions.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
Starting with the prize money gained from Afroskills, we will continue to build on capital through savings and other grant applications. Once the business is running we hope to reinvest earnings to build the brand and expand or partner with other stakeholders, for instance by marketing attractions outside the country.
So far we won 3rd prize of 1000 euros from Afroskills Business Ideas Competition.
