Sustainable and clean Renewable Energy
Our mission is to solve the poor energy generation system in the country by providing clean energy and affordable gas to the public. Over 100million of Nigeria's population have no access to this clean energy and most result to traditional cooking systems like woods, LPG, coals and the rest. All this produces toxic gasses and explosions resulting from LPG leakages that about 70,000 premature deaths are being record almost yearly and the mostly affected are women and children. 4hours everyday is spent by women and children to get together enough cooking firewoods from the bushes for a day. This women and children are prone to snake bites and other bush animals that could cause them harm. Some fall from trees breaking bones while some die at the spot.
Open fires affects the climate as well as liquified petroleum gas. Switching to a greener and affordable energy system - biogas can save the earth by reducing deforestation in rural and urban communities as well as manage animal dungs and biodegradable wastes around communities.
Over a hundred million of Nigeria's population are in search of a better alternative to energy. Bakeries, eateries, restaurants and bars need this products as majority are now using woods die to high costs of LPGs.
Globally, countries like USA, Germany, Sweden have adopted the biogas systems to reduce carbon emissions and save the planet.
Biogas is the way!
There are modernized technologies used in biogas production, and it could be automated, semi-automated, even an automatic production line. It is basically a digester either drum or constructed with bricks or modernized tanks used in USA, Germany etc which are used to degrade the solid wastes by bacterias to produce raw biogas which is transported through pipes for purifications involving steel wool for hydrogen sulphide, water system for CO2 and other further purifications followed by upgrading and storage in tanks, ready for distribution.
We intend to use locally sourced materials like GP tanks, pipes, connectors, compressors, liquifiers, for a start because of little or no available funds while we grow from there and we can use the same local materials for rural settlements and villages...
Urban settlements and Towns will use more advanced technology in production due to high population as the company's revenue grows.
Adopting the biogas systems will reduce the risk of premature deaths by open fires and snake bites.
Reduce carbon emissions and also reduce the rate of deforestation this is because the biogas burns without emissions of dangerous greenhouse gases making it eco-friendly.
The fact that it is gotten fr natural sources and can be renewed makes it favorable as an option to take climate changes.
Our biogas system will be made available to be used as vehicle fuels to reduce emissions from petrol driven cars.
In terms of Nigeria's population, 92million plus citizens are in total darkness, meaning no availability of electrical energy. A hundred million have no access to clean cooking energy whatsoever even though they have the raw materials for biogas production. This population are mostly rural communities. In the urban centers, people still have to move to far places to get their cylinders refilled.
The government have not had enough resources to reach out to this population therefore GraceRace Productions and Renewable Energy is taking up the project to reach out.
Looking at the tons of wastes generated by Nigerian rural and urban communities, there is a need to channel this wastes for the right purpose.
Social centers like eateries, restaurants and bars, bakeries and others have resulted to adding firewoods and coal to their cooking alternative as the price of LPG continues to rise.
Biogas can help these businesses increase production at the same time reduce climate change.
Our company took a survey round a specific city and discovered the pains businesses using LPGs and firewoods and coals go through. Some have resulted to using glasses to see and some have left their stations due to health issues associated with open fires.
On hearing the biogas system, it was like music to their ears.
More people in country will have wider smiles and enhanced productivity with the availability of our biogas system.
The team have been on the development of the idea for about 2years now, this because for us to have the necessary impact that we so desire we need a great plan to execute such. Irrespective of that we have passionate change makers coming together to form this team and day by day have been hoping that a good opportunity will present itself to complete the smiles on the faces of the masses.
We had taken a survey in about 5 communities and the responded were great.
Businesses also responded well to idea and hoped the project commences soon to save them alot of cost after we explained how our project can bring about reduced cost and increased income to their businesses.
Some communities have already began saving their wasted for the project and we have spoken to some to continue the process as we have understood their needs and have brought a solution to their doorsteps.
- Support informal communities in upgrading to more resilient housing, including financing, design, and low-carbon materials or energy sources.
- Nigeria
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model, but which is not yet serving anyone
The solution has been accepted my most individuals and businesses and few have tested the product alongside the team. We have seen it's workability and believe the need to begin mass exploration and production.
For testing it is serving about 8houses
Applying to Solve, we need modernized equipment support to speed up our production process and to enable us reach a wider customer base. Not neglecting the possibility of finance which could help set up another pilot plant and branches.
The team also needs trainings in various aspects of businesses and management to be experienced enough for the long run and we also need a business coach and a team of very much experienced board members for the project to become even stronger than it is.
- Business Model (e.g. product-market fit, strategy & development)
- Financial (e.g. accounting practices, pitching to investors)
- Legal or Regulatory Matters
- Product / Service Distribution (e.g. delivery, logistics, expanding client base)
- Public Relations (e.g. branding/marketing strategy, social and global media)
For the country's large population to switch to biogas will bring significant change in the market as more investments will also switch to renewable energy, giving less attention to fossil based products. Biogas will increase in value.
With the necessary funding and support, we will reduce the large population of 170million Nigerians lacking clean cooking energy by 5% or more in the first year of production due to struggles to kickstart, public awareness and other Barriers and upgrade to 20% over the next 5years.
We will be bringing in more hands to move the project as we advance from city to city, setting up pivot plants and training individuals on plant maintenance and other necessities needed to build the business.

We measure out progress from the number of customers we get on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis then we gradually set targets to improve where necessary.
Our production levels and capacity will also indicate our progress.
