Adadk: Smart Water Solutions
Globally, minor water leaks account for nearly 1.0 trillion gallons of wasted water each year and is equal to annual household water use in nearly 11 million homes. More than 67% of water leaks refer to indoors and there is lack of precise intelligent systems to detect invisible leaks.
Due to the need for large amounts of water for personal use, irrigation, and various production processes in household, agricultural and industrial settings as well as the growing human population and significance of sustainability roles, it is necessary to design a management and monitoring water system to be used as a highly effective wireless device close to water distribution pipelines, in order to achieve the primary goal of detecting leaks and their locations as soon as they occur.
We present a patented system based on wireless sensors and augmented reality network (AR) designed to detect visible and invisible water leaks earlier, with the help of autonomous learning algorithms (ML), allows for precise location (accuracy 95%) of water leaks by using low-cost hardware ($6/person/year) and an easy-to-implement system.
AdadkSensorTM has helped poor households and refugee camps with more than 7000 devices and monitoring, and it has reduced water loss by more than 8 million gallons, avoided damage by 13 million, and reduced climate impact (Co2 eq.) by 90K tons yearly. It has also increased water consumption awareness for more than 3000 women households in rural areas throughout Jordan, Tunisia and Germany.
We target women households, farmers and plumbers in urban and rural areas to save water leaks by 95%.
Our sustainable and environmental impacts include an improvement in people's livelihoods through a reduction in the annual environmental costs associated with human health of $22K, eco-toxicity of $77K, resource depletion of $96K, and carbon footprint of $250K. The use of the smart sensor in irrigation systems increased crop yields by 30%, reduced hunger and poverty, and enhanced plant health and crop uniformity.
Adadk is developing a brand narrative that asks for worldwide cooperation in order to enable universal water management and access to clean and ongoing water, just as SOLVE had the grand vision to unite the U.S. in order to unleash exponential socio-economic and humanitarian development.

The Adadks' solution transforms how water is appropriately stored, managed and consumed, benefiting the entire water environment. The Adadk expert team has spent the last five years working hard to achieve advances in water technology simplification and campaigning for behavioral changes in water usage. Adadk has a positive and significant impact on the economy, society, government, and the environment, making it a strong, scalable quickly-expanding business model. Noting that the solution has been evaluated and validated on a worldwide scale and has ability to scale up to small-scale households and farmers. In order to promote global water access and reduce water losses for the billions of people who do not have access to clean water, winning this fund will allow us to develop a larger range of innovative and affordable water detection technology.
