In my community, cassava is mostly boiled or fermented into food, making the opportunities in cassava farming limited. From my research, I discovered that cassava have more to offer than just being boiled or fermented into food. Cassava can earn extra income for farmers, provide employment opportunities and serve as food reserve. There is need to move from the normal traditional way of food processing to innovative and mechanized food processing and my idea will help to bring about agricultural innovation and mechanization in my community.
My solution involves different processes and partnership chains that will involve the people starting from the supply of cassava roots from farmers, the processing of the cassava roots and the supply of my products to bakeries by agents or distributors.
