There is an amount of sewer waste to be handled every day either in a single house or a megacity. The amount certainly increases as the population increases. In a single household, the excretion is usually stored in a septic tank whereas in a large city, it is transferred via long and large sewer tunnels that require work hours to build and maintain them. So one waste causes another.
The solution depends on making use of the shit on site thus eliminating or at least alleviating the need for to-be-emptied septic tanks or large and long sewer systems.
Now, we know that plants consume CO2 for photosynthesis if illuminated and the shit involves methane which is burnable. So, we gather the methane already accumulated in the sewers into containers and simply burn it for heating at a centralized location and direct the CO2 to greenhouses.
There is another use for the waste as fertilizer, however, it needs collaboration from the people living in the buildings. they have to use appropriate cleaning material in their toilets. The shit would be processed into a sludge to be fed into a park or patch of land as fertilizer. Yes, it will involve city planning.
The solution would alleviate the mass transfer requirement of sewer material. It also generates energy from it on site and provides fertilizer to suitable land.
I do not have a team and would not be able to do so in my current location. You are welcome to use it.

Maybe MIT would like my solution and grant me a scholarship or offers me a part in a project.

Because I did not see it anywhere. I did not look thoroughly though. There was a documentary video showing animal manure directed by a pipe to farming patches and burning the gas in a furnace for cooking.
I will prototype my inventions and try to make them marketable.

I just progress by adding to or changing the solutions according to experience.
It is simple causality. You dream of something that is common good or better. Then, you introduce something to be processed and test it. Certainly, there is research and discussion with the worthy. Going for a simulation first if applicable. Experimenting at small scales to validate. And making the results known so interested parties are made aware of it. When people see the benefit, the change comes naturally.
It is just an idea.
