Problem: Climate change has caused alot of challenges to many countries over the years and has contributed negatively  to food security,leasing to many losses and deaths. All this could be avoided if the people were ready for the changes. Climate adaption will help save lives and improve the current situation especially in my country where people are affected by drought and others living near lakes rise in water levels...living them homeless.Climate smart agriculture is one of the things that will help greatly

Climate-smart agriculture in my community is beneficial in achieving food security, poverty reduction, adaptation to severe weather and nutrition. Among the techniques with the highest positive climate smartness impact are intercropping, conservation agriculture, manure composting, crop rotation and the use of biodigesters in dairy production. With climate-smart agriculture expanding economic development by strengthening the farming industry, it remains a key player in helping Kenya reach its goal of a 10% average annual GDP growth rate up to 2030.

In my community most farmers depend on rain, a stable climate is therefore  essential for food and income security. Therefore, the unstable weather patterns have severely affected livestock populations and crop output. This, in turn, affects the livelihoods of many rural populations in Kenya that depend on farming, with smallholder farmers particularly at risk.

My team is passionate about agriculture and helping farmers improve their livelihood and increase production to serve more people. We are also targeting the youth by making them engaged and interested in farming
