Manhattan 2 Open Source Decarbonization Initiative
see below
I propose we produce “MIT's Plan to Save the Planet”.
The deliverable would be six documents: (1) a one page summary of a federal law that reduces CO2 to zero at lowest cost, (2) an explanation of why the proposed law is the lowest cost approach, (3) a proposed study that calculates the cost and impact of the proposed law, (4) a global climate strategy, (5) a plan for how to get to zero emissions at lowest cost, and (6) a business plan for a new decarbonization R&D laboratory.
I have already written open source drafts of these documents. Subsequently anyone can copy, edit, and place their name on their work. All at no cost. In other words, MIT could use these as examples of what this might look like, and can copy any of this material.

I would like for SOLVE money to help pay MIT professors to improve these documents.
I live in Cambridge and am available to discuss, at your convenience.
