Fighting Carbone emission in the Poultry sector in Africa

The reduction of the carbonne emission in the poultry sector, by the creation of electric oven use during the brooder period.

         In Africa, poultry farming requires the cutting of wood from our forests, which accentuates deforestation.  This wood is then burned in ovens, which emits CO2.  However, trees, through photosynthesis, capture the CO2 emitted and release vital oxygen for life on earth.  The problem of heating chicks in Africa is at two levels: deforestation and the emission of CO2 during the heating of said animals.

To remedy this problem caused by that economic activity, we have thought and designed a project called “Green Poultry Farmer” which is a poultry farm project allowing us to innovate in terms of heating chicks during the brooder period.  This is concretely the creation of a thermal, electric oven, named "TS27" powered by solar panels to heat the room (the chicken coop) for the duration of the heating.

 • This involves designing electric ovens to be made available to farmers ( The actors of the poultry sectors)

 • The indigenous communities to adapt to the new method of heating chicks by the electric oven in order to avoid the cutting of wood from the forests and thus limit greenhouse gas emissions.

The poultry sector was chosen because it constitutes 14% of the GDP of African states. My team and I are suitable people because some work as poultry workers, and others are in the forestry field. However, all of us are climate change activists who are trying every day to find solution about climate change in our community.

As a part of economic activity, our solution is an innovation because the world is facing his worst crisis, the climate change and his consequences, more, the world is facing energy crisis.  Our solution over come all these crisis together and help actors of poultry sector get more benefits. 

Our objective is to reduce more than 50% of carbine emissions in the poultry sector within the next 1000 day in Africa, start from now .

So we must provide our solution to the people who are in the poultry sector and indigenous. 

We provide technical solution to succeed heating period of their business.  Also, we insure that their business benefits keeps growth by proposing  cheapest oven . 

That is the main problem we are facing.  But we are determined to travel around the world searching financial fund to fight climate change in our community and help people to change mentality.
