AI Data-driven Behavioural Change ecosystem for ESG

Provide a one-line summary of your solution.

A green ecosystem platform using AI Data analytics to nudge Behavioural Change for ESG, Waste Management and Green Initiatives, targeting Individuals, Corporations and Society behaviors.

What specific problem are you solving?

Lack of connected ecosystem, tracking, awareness and governance for Green initiatives. There are a lot of green and/or ESG projects, but:

1)not many people know about them

2)it is hard for people and companies to change their old habits

3)there is lack of knowledge and information of the benefits and incentives of adopting green behaviour.

4)green behaviour is generally not tracked and digised. There is a lack of data to provide a feedback incentive loop

Our platform helps to digitise data on green behaviour and provide feedback incentives/rewards loop to incentivise and catalyst behavioural change and ESG/green initiatives adoption.

What is your solution?

We provide a platform for individuals, NGOs and corporations to adopt green initiatives, connecting them with a common green currency (a "Waze" & "Uber" for green initiatives). This enables the creation of new solutions; scaling existing solutions or making them more visible; and prioritizing the traditional knowledge of those communities who have always preserved our natural resources.

Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?

Learning for Civic Action. Our platform analyses data on individual and corporate behaviour and provides suggestions and/or actionable tools for them to nudge behavioural change to adopt ESG practices. As our platform is like a "Waze" & "Uber" for ESGI am an avid diver and have witnessed the utter and complete destruction of the coral reefs within the last 15 years. My parter is vegetarian and is deeply concerned with our carbon footprint, sustainiability and food security. initiatives, it helps to bridge the urban-rural divide and helps bring to fore and highlight the sustainable practices of the rural and historically marginalized communities.

How are you and your team well-positioned to deliver this solution?

I am an avid diver and have witnessed the utter and complete destruction of the coral reefs within the last 15 years. When I first started scuba diving in 2008, I saw more plastics in the ocean than fishes. Over the years, I witnessed the tragic impact of coral bleaching and rising global temperatures. 90% of our coral reefs have died out. It is absolutely important to stop and reverse this trend. Also, I witnessed many companies/startups/initiatives having very good ESG initiatives, but not many people know about them and they are not connected. My partner is vegetarian and is deeply concerned with our carbon footprint, sustainability and food security. We also have deep industry experience in AI, Machine Learning and data analytics.

We have been manufacturing and distributing food waste composters for almost a decade. Previously, our food waste composters are just ordinary compost bins without any sensors and data analytics. We have recently developed a prototype of a smart food waste composter and is in the middle of developing a green platform.

Who is the Team Lead for your solution?

Edwin Loh. Mr. Edwin Loh is a serial entrepreneur and marketer with 25 years’ experience in a wide variety of industries like AI, food and beverage, fashion, advertising, e-commerce, education, and logistics. He is currently the CEO and co-founder of The Xpress Train (a Venture Builder), KOTO Association (an AI-driven platform for Upskilling, Job Placement & Financial Inclusion), Nanobar (an IOT vending box), and Imagine AI Sdn. Bhd. (a solutions provider for Automation, AI Vision & Robotics). Edwin recently won IET’s Technology Industry Excellence Gold Award 2022 presented by YB Chang Lih Kang (Minister Of Science, Technology and Innovation). Edwin’s early years was in Selangor and subsequently graduated from National University of Singapore where, as President of the Faculty, he ran a multitude of projects and student activities. He believes in an active lifestyle, and is passionate about sports, travel, and films. He is also deeply involved with the local activities in Johor and would like to contribute to promoting Malaysia wherever and whenever possible.
