Linking generations

The problem is that the young people no longer respect the old generations, they no longer see them as the great teachers, now they see them as a burden. Older adults are disconnected from new technologies and when they retire they lose motivation and desire to live.

We want to unite those two generations. We want older adults to be mentors of young people on different topics, such as life, business, etc. And young people are teachers of older adults in technological issues.

With our idea we want that there is no longer technological illiteracy in the elderly and the young people come back to admire and respect the elderly. With this idea, the will to live will continue to be present in the lives of our seniors

When an older adult retires, he loses that interest for the life he had when he was working, he no longer feels useful, and he thinks that it is no longer useful. The older adult has a lot of knowledge that can serve young people, and young people have a lot of knowledge that can serve the older adult. What would happen if we united those two generations? What would happen if our older adults became useful again and stopped being technological illiterates? What would happen if the young men had mentors full of wisdom and will guide them from how to live to how to act before a job interview, develop a curriculum vitae etc? Our project will positively mark the life of two generations.

We are working with two great generations that are currently disunited.

Young people who graduate from high schools and are thinking of continuing in college or decide to start a business idea.

Older adults who have retired from working life and who have not found a motivation to move forward after their working life.

Our solution is to unite these two generations through a process of mentoring. Young people will be mentors of older adults in technological issues, and older adults will be mentors of young people on topics from life, to start a business. Young people who decide to participate will "adopt" an older adult and vice versa

Unite two generations to work together and generate more participatory citizens without generational or technological barriers
