Globally, we often create our own problems when we react to emotions because we don’t take time to pause before acting. In the workplace, this can lead to issues with employee performance, turnover and retention challenges. For teens, this can be devastating as fall-out from emotional actions creates friend challenges, school failings and sometimes even self-harm/suicide. 

We provide users with an AI-powered solution to help them safely and confidently express their emotions in real-time, without fear of judgement. n the workplace, our solutions helps employees reflect on their emotions, additionally, it helps with skill enhancement via voice-to-text search of company's proprietary content. For teens, it helps them deal with their emotions and it's a homework assistant and provides customized one-on-one tutoring. 

Our solution helps entry-level employees who may struggle to assimilate into their new jobs, leading to high turnover rates and low engagement. By providing them with tools to navigate the workplace and access the information they need to complete their job with confidence, our solution boosts their self-esteem and helps them advance in their careers to higher-wage jobs.

In addition, our solution also benefits students, especially those from low-income backgrounds. It provides access to emotional support that might not be available from their parents due to other life demands, and offers a cost-effective augmentation to traditional homework assistance and one-on-one tutoring.

With a combined 45 years of experience working with low-resourced communities, mentoring programs, and leadership development for corporate employees, our team has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by these groups. To create a solution that truly addresses these challenges, we involved low-resourced students in the development process. By collaborating with these students to write the requirements, design, and test the solution, we were able to ensure that our product is user-friendly and accessible, while also providing private and confidential interactions with our users. This approach helped us overcome adoption barriers and ensure that our solution is truly effective in addressing the needs of our target communities.

We are seeking funding to enhance our product's user engagement. Our team has dedicated resources towards developing a robust solution, and we have received positive feedback from users who report improvements in their self-awareness and self-esteem.

With additional funding, we plan to take our product to the next level by creating an interactive avatar with facial expressions that accurately reflect the emotional content being discussed, as well as diverse ethnic voices. We are also seeking technical expertise to help bring this vision to life.

Traditionally, helping people become their best selves has involved focusing on just one aspect of personal development, either knowledge acquisition or soft skills development. As a result, we expect 30% of our users to get promoted to high-wage jobs within five years.

Before users start using our app, we administer various measurements to assess their self-awareness and self-esteem. These assessments are conducted periodically to monitor their progress. In addition, we track the academic performance of students and the career advancement of employees to evaluate their overall progress.

By providing privacy, the app removes the stigma associated with seeking and receiving help. This approach ensures wider adoption, as users don't have to worry about downloading additional software to their devices. To further enhance user experience, we've integrated three powerful AI engines and customized code to make the process seamless. This means users don't have to determine whether their issue is a skill or will challenge - our app takes care of everything, so they can focus on achieving their goals.

We believe that the best way to create a product that truly meets the needs of its users is to involve those users directly in the development process. That's why we've partnered with afterschool and mentoring programs in low-resourced communities to engage teens in the creation of our app. These young people have played an active role in writing requirements, designing the app, and testing its features. By incorporating their insights and feedback, we've been able to create a product that truly reflects the needs and desires of its intended audience.

Inclusivity is a key value for us, and that's why we've also made sure to include teens with learning disabilities in our development process. We recognize that everyone has unique needs and abilities, and we're committed to creating an app that can be used by as many people as possible.
