UnirVida Med
Discrimination is common even in health care designed to help individuals. Minorities, such as persons of color, those with mental illnesses and disabilities, the lgbtqia+ community, women, children, older citizens, and the underprivileged, typically get the short end of the stick. The National Institutes of Health study, the 2021 National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Report, reveals an extensive examination of discrimination in every imaginable factor.
UnirVida Med is a donation-supported online consulting application. The acquired funds will be allocated to consultants, personnel, and app maintenance. The transactions will be explicit. Patients will be able to receive the necessary assistance without discrimination or cost. The app encourages patients to go outside by providing consultations, prescriptions, information displays, and an interactive game. In addition, the game will give the patients points that, when accumulated to a certain level, will allow them to request consultations to prevent abuse of the free app.
This study's purpose is to facilitate universal access to free health care. All information is maintained in strict confidence. To ensure that the program is free, it will be funded by donations. Efforts will be made to make the application user-friendly, and it will be designed with the unwell in mind. It will include an informational display, a consultation, and a game. With the assistance of physicians and programmers, the app will be created in collaboration with the MIT app developer. Completing the app's development will require one month and a second month for the results.
With the assistance of physicians and technicians, the students will create the application using the MIT App Inventor. The application will be user-friendly and adapted to the needs of the afflicted and underprivileged. Numerous application sections, such as the information board and activities, will be accessible offline, while consultations will be conducted online.
The app will be disguised as a game; in any event, a patient does not want others to learn about their health. Regarding this, all patient information is rigorously confidential and only accessible to the consultant and the patients themselves.
Discrimination is rampant even in health care, which is supposed to aid people. In most situations, marginalized individuals, such as people of color, those suffering from mental illnesses and disabilities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, women, children, elderly citizens, and the economically disadvantaged, are the ones who come out on the losing end. In addition to this, access to medical care is frequently limited. When healthcare providers disregard patients owing to their bias, this form of discrimination goes hand in hand with it. However, a significant number of sufferers of inaccessibility are also economically disadvantaged. It's possible that they don't have enough money to handle any future medical expenses. They might also live in regions where getting to hospitals is problematic for various reasons.
The assistance provided by UnirVida is entirely restricted to the app itself. The accessibility, equity, and equality provided are the main focus of this research. In contrast to other apps, it is unable to detect things like pulse rate or the like. The emphasis is placed on the games, as well as donations, prescriptions, and consultations. But beyond that, its capabilities are limited to the possibility of making an emergency call for assistance.
Every single piece of information is shielded from public view at all times. Donations will be used to cover the app's costs to keep the app's price at zero. The application will be simplified to make it more user-friendly, and it will, of course, include explicit accommodations for people who are ill. The event will consist of a consultation, a game, and a display board with information.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdowns, people could not afford or see a doctor because of the fear that they might catch the virus. Some people could not continue their therapies, leading them to lose hope of getting better. And people who have mental illnesses suffer more because of isolation, and they can't go see a doctor. Hospitals were limited in bed space for patients because of the rising COVID-19 cases. Cases of abuse and discrimination arise during the pandemic. People Die inside their houses, and hospitals wouldn't accommodate them without a PCR test, which is very pricy, and many people cannot afford it, especially those who lost their jobs. As a student, we were also affected by the effects of pandemic. We are not able to go to school and interact with our peers. Because of a lack of social interaction, we are not able to grow mentally. Because of this, we come up with the idea of making an app that is free, accessible, and can accommodate people regardless of their gender, ethnicity, disabilities, and social status. A free 7-days trial of the app will welcome them once they sign in and complete the verification level. Only their physician will know their identity , and it will be hidden from the public. They are also protected by the patient confidentiality and privacy act. Patients can use the app to book an appointment for Face to face consultation with their doctor, ask questions, have Video call consultations, and have their therapy online with the guidance of their doctor.

- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model, but which is not yet serving anyone
Our study came from the idea of helping people to have free access to healthcare, especially during the pandemic. This led us to conceptualize the idea of making an app and improving it by creating our blueprint and the function of our app.
As of the moment, we do not currently serve anyone. However, our study is in the process of making the app, and we are yet to accommodate people we guarantee that it will be available soon.
Applying to MIT Solve is a fantastic opportunity for us to present our product to a team of experts and request assistance and guidance to improve our product with the help of technicians and consultants that we cannot afford. With the assistance of MIT Solve's legal council, we also wish to ensure that we do not violate any laws and regulations. Also, with the help of the expert team, we anticipate that our prototype will evolve into a product that will serve and aid people in gaining free and improved access to healthcare.

Unirvida Med is an application that specifically caters to the discriminated and underprivileged.
It provides free online consulting through messages with AI. It also has a game feature that gives the users 'souls' or points that when accumulated can help them avail a meeting with a consultant online or face-to-face. In the case that a user would like to avail of such services immediately, there are options for them to buy 'breathes' to convert into 'souls'.
Unirvida Med provides free and accessible health care, while still being able to maintain the source of revenue through the former and donations.

It pushes a game system toward the users, helping relieve stress, promoting social interaction with fellow users, and giving them a sense of accomplishment.
It gives users a fresh feeling and stimulates them to be active with the reward of consultation as their drive. Users are either separated into two categories, and both are highly interconnected. Users that avail in-app purchases and donations account for the accessibility to those who are underprivileged. This provides a camaraderie between the two types of users, and the app is the mediator.
