Mosquitoes control have been always one of the biggest human challenges worldwide. The tools that are available until today have been proven to be ineffective or with very low efficiency towards the enormous mosquito  reproduction and with many negative effects on environment and especially the chemical spraying with carcinogenic chemicals (Deet, k-othrine etc.) which they do not even eliminate them but they work as repellents.

Recent studies from Liverpool and Forth universities shows that even as repellents they are effective due to mosquito immunity, after many decades of chemical spraying.

The mosquito battle is a global challenge with the latest official annual reports from WHO citing a million deaths and 780 million hospitalizations worldwide.

Mosquito diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, zika virus, nile virus,  chikungunya, yellow fever and several types of deadly encephalitis and other known types of diseases which we do not know that are related to mosquitoes, like the very recent discover for Alzheimer that we did not know that is connected with mosquitoes.

There are a lot of different products in the market which claim to provide a solution to the battle against mosquitoes. Majority they are using 1 chemical attractor (element) to attract mosquitoes. Over 99% use ultraviolet light, which doesn't attract them. We have 5 products that use carbon dioxide which humans produce with every breath. Humans produce minimum 12 up to 26 natural attractive elements that attract mosquitoes, such as odor, so if in a room there is one mosquito and your only line of defence is a device that uses two attracting elements, they will bite you. If the mosquito transfers diseases such as malaria,dengue fever, yellow fever or zika, you may die. 

There is currently no solution against mosquitoes if we are in the same room with them that is chemical free or efficient. Our solution puts a protective shield between humans and mosquitoes and at the same time reduces their local populations. 

Mosquito reproduction is enormous,a single female can produce 150 to 300 eggs. 

Another issue with mosquito reproduction is the stagnant water which they need to lay their eggs, with a minimum amount of a full spoon, something which is uncontrollable with raining, springs, rivers etc.

As humans we spray chemicals for various purposes creating a very toxic cocktail for environment and invisible enemy for public health with unknown results, such as genetic modified mosquitoes.

Since homo sapiens, they have lived on earth 108 billion people, 52 billion  of them died from mosquitoes.

UMX system on the hardware part, basically is a combination of mosquito net combined with an electrified mesh (zapping,ark metal fence) which is adjustable to any external frame of buildings (doors and windows) easy to install in couple of minutes.

The rest open area on the external frames they covered by plain mosquito net which has been designed to maximize the indoor protection by using again 2 natural forces, gravity and magnetism, which allows humans and pets to enter the indoor space or the outdoor space safely without giving time to mosquitoes to enter indoor as well.

The device is introducing and combining 21 innovations , for the highest indoor protection and more complete targeted outdoor protection due to its ability to reduce the population of only the 100 attacking females species, which are solely responsible for the transmission of mosquito diseases.

UMX does not harm the remaining 3,500 species of mosquitoes which are important to the environment as pollinators. They are necessary for wild life, and are a very important link in the ecosystem. 

Our solution can be installed on top of external doors and windows. It allows mosquitoes to have the impression to pass through the zapping mesh as an opening and be exterminated on contact. The Mosquito problem is a worldwide challenge and bigger problem in the tropical zones where people are suffering everyday with the highest rate of deaths and hospitalizations.

The solutions offered so far in the marketplace have had no effect on reducing mosquito populations. At best, they are an ineffective temporary solution. People in tropical zones are living with real fear of severe illness and death.

UMX can not only protect by being a barrier between mosquitoes and humans but also reduce the number of mosquitoes that attack. Thereby improving the quality of life for millions of people. 

Mosquito diseases are not only connected with public health and well being but also with decongestion of hospital structures (when they exist), environmental issues (chemical spraying and plastic waste and cardboard waste, toxicity of coils etc.), financial growth, communality, tourism development, psychological support in societies, reduction in mortality, normality in births etc.     

Personally, I have performed presentations at several international universities with very positive feedback from professors in entomology and mosquitologists. We are currently organizing semi-open field evaluations and large scale open field evaluations, with our team which consists of distinguished scientist from MIT, Harvard, ETH ,Athens Polytechnic, Athens University, KIT, Florida University,Wyoming University, Kogi State University in Nigeria,University of Buffalo as well as, non profit organizations (such as Malaria No More) and Google. 

I communicate regularly with community leaders in tropical zones who are aware of the problems both for health and environment. They are highly motivated to see UMX in their communities as they realize and had a single unit to test, before the official evaluation, it's potential to improve the quality of life in their regions. 

The patent has been graded with the maximum grade for a patent which is 9A.

WIPO has categorize the patent as EGPP (Emerging Global Priority Patent).

In December 10th 2021, I have received the award for the 

'Most Outstanding Environmentally Friendly Technology of the year'  from Asian-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Last year i have been called to support the suffering populations in Pakistan and Nigeria after the catastrophic floods, they had to face over 40,000 malaria cases per week.

We have recently signed to have a Proof of Concept deal leading to a contract for manufacturing with a company in the UK with a very large distribution capacity.

Since we eliminate only the female mosquitoes (because they are the ones attacking the human), our 2nd goal is to reduce the population of mosquitoes in the areas we operate. By eliminating female ones we manage to decrease their total population. 

After 4 years of tests and improvements ,we are expecting the 3rd party official evaluation .in order to proceed with the investors and manufacturers, for mass production on several countries(86 so far and its growing).

We have already investors and organizations that they want exclusivity for producing UMX from several countries of all the continents.

We have already signed cooperation agreements which are protected by NDA, LOI and MOU .  

Since we will start mass production of UMX, one of our goals and priorities is to start distribution in African countries (we are already in contact with African governments and their public health authorities) so we can start reducing on a large scale the attacking mosquito populations and their diseases ,especially malaria which is effects and kills mostly children under 5 years old. 

Our goals are directly connected with the support of authorities, non profit organizations,WHO and Global Fund, scientific society, universities .
