Wellbeing discovery and management tools can use computerized wellbeing frameworks that can improve care and decrease adverse birth outcomes and rare conditions in low-and-middle income countries.
One area of concentration is to guarantee that patients are placed on appropriate care pathway. An arrangement of gadgets and information that enables administration of care to patient’s with rare disease. Digital health is revolutionizing the landscape of global healthcare. Solutions such as telemedicine, electronic medical records, and digitally enabled devices help to provide accessible, high-quality care around the world. These services have the potential to be especially impactful in low-income areas where care provided by highly trained individuals is not as common. Digital health can empower individual patients by enabling them to manage their own healthcare journeys. It can also drive systemic change through affordable, wide-reaching services that reduce the strain on healthcare professionals and facilities in low-resource settings. Digital adoption spiked overnight as providers had to quickly pivot to virtual care. However, we also learned that more than one quarter of survey respondents did not use any digital technologies to manage their health in the past year. In early 2020, only 7% of people had a virtual consultation with a provider compared with a robust 32% this year. Nearly half (48%) say they have never had a virtual healthcare appointment. Thirty-nine percent of patients* with chronic diseases, rare or current conditions had a virtual consultation in 2020. We also saw an increase in the use of electronic health records—with 31% using EHR this year (38% for our patient cohort). Remote patient monitoring tripled compared with our last pre-pandemic survey. Interestingly, 21% of those surveyed said they would be willing to participate in digital services or digital technologies. Accenture August 6,2021
Mtaah doc has a robust digital backbone to improve the quality of care to pregnant women. It primarily increases the engagement of pregnant women in digital healthcare.
The application is meant to address healthcare addressing patient needs and conveniently access health providers within the region they are located. A list of all types of medical specialists within that region are displayed for the patients to choose from and book appointments or request for immediate attention. On the platform there is a provision to request for ambulances that are close to their residence using an uber clone like application. It creates an interaction platform between the patient and the health providers.
We are targeting pregnant women to assist them access maternal care through usage of digital telemedicine platforms that would enable them to detect and prevent adverse birth outcomes. This will henceforth allow the detection and management of persons living with rare conditions both in urban and marginalised areas to access modern healthcare remotely.
We currently have a cross functional team that works with local religious institutions and local governments to reach out to the marginalised and underserved communities
We are engaging the communities we are serving through need finding discovery channels to gather relevant information that will guide us through development of the system. We endeavour to solve frustrations experienced by them by usage of digital platforms to access needed healthcare.
- Improve accessibility and quality of health services for underserved groups in fragile contexts around the world (such as refugees and other displaced people, women and children, older adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, etc.)

We do require financial assistance to scale up the project and meeting day to day operation costs.
We might face possible cultural and market barriers in the respective regions that the solution will serve.
The resident legal barriers might pose a challenge implementing the solution in the different counties of operation.
Its our hope that the challenge will enable us to overcome such challenges by creating brand l awareness of this solution to the public and stir up crowd funding for the same.
