Virtual Sports
Sports is one of the most important thing that shapes youth into positive direction regardless whether its a developing or a developed country. Sports has the ability to improve someones IQ and in return improve his/her decision making capabilities. It is also responsible of exposing the youth to the world where they can start to dream big. In developing countries there is lack of coaches or mentors to instill the knowledge, discipline and motivation.
Virtual Sports will use Virtual Reality to train people in different Sports Discipline. This will eliminated the need for being physically present to train people. This will not only in cutting costs but it will also make sports more popular and this will lead to improved thinking capabilities among people.
Virtual Sports will help solve the challenge of lack of sports coaches and mentors. The challenge comes because of lack of resources to reach the majority of the individuals, this is due to poor economies by the developing countries. With Virtual Sports, people would be able to get instructions and see how to some training and implement on their own time.
The solutions targets people targets youth. The users will have access to our solution through Virtual reality gadgets which will be taking them through different trainings according to their Sports Discipline.
The solution acts a coach or mentor hence solving the challenge of lack of mentors or coaches.

Currently it involves physically visiting every interested member to train them which is not sustainable and can't be used to reach everyone. The Virtual Reality technology will enable millions and millions of users accessing the same content and as if they are physically with the trainer, this will bring exciting which will make the training more engaging and fun at the same time.

Our research with 10 communities show that people are willing to learn and actively participate in sports but lack of role models and coaches contributes to people not to take part in sports.
Since its not economically feasible to be physically visiting the communities to train them, a Virtual Reality App is the solution. The app will take the people through the training without the trainer going there physically.

Currently we have just concluded doing research and working towards having a prototype. We should be able to serve 1,000, 000 people in a year. In 5 years we should be able to serve over 20 million people.
In the year we are aiming to have the product on the market and in the next five years we should be able to cover the whole Southern Africa.
Lack of funding to support Technical experts in the field of Virtual Reality and AI to scale up the project. Lack of mentor-ship programmes is another challenge.
