The Triple I-G-E Movement
This Solution will allow participants to develop a wide range of beneficial attributes, such as the ability to be responsible, develop important time-management skills, overcome insecurities with adults, and juggle finances. Furthermore, these participants will acquire skills that include Professionalism, Leadership, Customer Service, Entrepreneurship Goal Orientes, Critical thinking, and Strategic thinking.
The Triple I-G-E Movement will benefit by gaining social sustainability which focuses on the construction of healthy communities through both formal and informal measures. Social sustainability is about good health and well-being. By creating this movement through our Triple I-G-E young ladies, although our focus is all young adults, however, this Solution is geared towards young ladies as there is a growing need to bridge the gap of inequality and breaking the cycle of in adversity in our female youth. Because we as women are the first instructors to our babies. Our babies should learn from the mother before even going to any school. There are so many young girls not being able to get the news that all women are queens because there is an invisible-visible curse amongst us. They are teen addiction in girls, dropout rates amongst girls, teen pregnancy, homelessness, in adversity, incarceration and suicide.
There are three examples of gender inequality in society today. Gender inequality in girls' education. Even before the pandemic, girls were more likely than boys to never set foot in a classroom and be denied equal opportunities, such as Child marriage, Gender-based violence, and child labor. According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, in the fall of 2022, about 8.3 million women were undergraduate college students, versus 6.1 million men. Women also outnumbered men in graduate programs-1.8 vs 1.1 million. According to the worldbank.org in March 2023, Girl's enrollment in primary schools in low-income countries is 78%, compared to the world average of 88%, and only 31% in secondary school, compared to the global average 66%.
My Solution will be empowering today's young ladies.
The Triple I-G-E Movement/ Ignite-Innovate-Initiative
Ignite means to cause to catch a fire.
Innovate means to make changes in something established, by introducing new methods, ideas or developing existing ones.
Initiative means the ability to assess and initiate things independently.
Girl, a female child, from birth to full growth. A young, immature woman, especially formerly, an unmarried girl, or a daughter.
In 86 countries, women face some form of job restriction and 95 countries do not guarantee equal pay for equal work. Globally, women still have only three quarters of the legal rights afforded to men. One of our goals is to leverage the benefits of diversity. With diversity as one of the most important aspects of social sustainability. It involves identifying the needs of all diverse groups, assessing their requirements and encouraging diverse perspectives in the community.
PHbalanced Events/Youth and Young Adult Center will provide a safe haven for girls to learn crafts, style in a salon, floral arrange, event planning, coordinate weddings, learn organizational skills, lead peer groups, become leaders, assistants and entrepreneurs of their own craft.
PHbalanced Events will also offer music lessons, which include, drums, and piano. Guitar lessons and singing lessons, along with specialized counseling sections, yoga, exercise, summer programs and afterschool programs. At the center we will also host indoor/outdoor weddings, retreats, nature trails, reunions, parties, musicals, meetings and family repass.
For our weddings, we will add a Secret Sauce. The Center will provide the community and surrounding areas with a place to have events all year round, for children and adults. Families will gather and we will plant seeds for our communities to bond together and grow.
PHbalanced Event Center will make money by hosting events and providing a home away from home feel. We will also allow vendors to operate under our umbrella for a percentage. There will be an in-house seamstress and photographer. There will also be a Spa/Salon on sight with a stylist/beautician and barber. I will handmake the jewelry, wedding florals, and all seasonal decors. We will also have a full-service/Commercial kitchen for catering and daily center hot meals. I have worked within the school system and attended other school cafeterias. The school lunches and afterschool snacks are pitiful. On staff for servicing and hosting events will be the Triple I-G-E movement participants. The young ladies will receive sponsorship and scholarships as token for all their hard work and dedication to the community and the center.
On site there will be 4 tiny houses for different themed wedding parties and events. The tiny houses will also serve as a separate place for the bride and the groom, and their courts. The tiny houses will also be for retreats, reunions, and overnight quests, with staff present for any occasion.
We will also have a basketball court, for summer games and tournaments, a tennis court, and playground. The grounds will have whimsical gardens and fountains for outdoor activities and photographs.
The population that we are targeting are young women ages 11- to 21-. We hope to impact their lives so that they do not become a statistic in a bias society. Our goal is to empower young ladies as they become young women. We want to give them an opportunity to build, grow and win for themselves. We want to educate them and give them communal support, because it takes a village. Sometimes young ladies do not always get the support and attention they long for at home or in our neighborhood churches. Due to a lack of time constraints, job security, job insecurities and lack of parental guidance. PH balanced Center will aide in providing a place where seeds can be planted, nurtured, and harvested to grow where there is a dysfunction, discomfort or harm to today's young women. We all know that there are not enough hours in a school day. In my profession, I have noticed that many of my scholars are not eager to go home for whatever their reason. The Center will offer extended hours to the community as needed for the growth and support of social sustainability for our young women in the form of afterschool programs, summer programs, and specialized counseling. Another important goal of our girl's movement is to assist a targeted group in contributing to society by allowing them the training and mentorship to help facilitate, operate, and become their own boss or an entrepreneur.

The Center would add a vital Dynamic to the south end of Pulaski County. The grounds and building alone will have a wow factor. We have building plans and have uploaded pics for your perusal. These are some venue ideas for the main congregational room. I have visited the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center. They offered tools and aid to create a business portfolio and monthly budget. My husband and I met with Randy Williamson, Senior SBA Lender at Arkansas Federal Credit Union. Williamson gave us an application. We went to the credit union to inquire about loan advice for PHbalanced Events. We discussed if we wanted to take out an SBA loan, provided that all other loan legalities and requirements are met. We were to pay a down payment of $30 for a $300K loan. My husband and I discussed taking out his early retirement as the down payment. I was scammed prior to going to the Credit Union. I have been very apprehensive about sharing my ideas, hopes and dreams.
I feel that now is as good a time as ever to fill in the gaps. Stand in where there are no parents, or family left due to the recent pandemic. Several of our youth lost their parents. Prior to the pandemic, for 22 years, my professional experiences include banking, finance, customer service, property management, office management, and personal assistant to a Physician. Since the pandemic I have seen a great need in our children. I have been working with children professionally since 2020 as a Pre-K teacher of 3–4-year-olds and currently I am a Kindergarten teacher. Most of my scholars are between the ages of 5-6. I have 2 biological daughters (11 and 15), 1 stepdaughter (11). 3 stepsons (25 and up, with spouses.) I also have two God sons, (5 and11). One of whom has Downs Syndrome. At one point we all (excluding stepsons) lived under one roof along with my husband, and two dogs.
We engage within the community, by collecting girls and women's clothes, toys, games, and household goods for various women's shelters such as Union Rescue Mission Dorcus House in Little Rock, AR and Union Rescue Mission, Nehemiah House. We have donated to Faith Temple Full Gospel Deliverance Center, Eastern Star Baptist Church, and New Beginnings Baptist Church. My husband has been on his job with the Little Rock Wastewater Reclamation Authority for 31 years in July of this year. He is a great Father, Elder, Pastor, Mentor, Teacher, Coach, Husband and Friend. He currently sings with Bishop Kenneth L. Robinson and Chosen, a gospel Quartet group who travels all over the world to sing about God. He has coached little league track, field and football. He has been a referee for AAA Arkansas Officials Association. He plays various instruments and can sing. He is also a sound technician, photographer, carpenter and minor mechanic. He serves now as acting Pastor of the New Beginnings Baptist Church of Little Rock. He has served as Minister of Music to several area churches. He works with Robinsons Mortuary, Little Rock. He also cooks and bakes cakes. He loves working with our youth. He is an excellent teacher and speaker.
Our church, the building burned 2 years ago amid the Pandemic due to the house next door to it catching fire. Sadly, the church did not have insurance.

I have gone through so much to get to the point of applying to this challenge. My Delima is financial, cultural and market barriers. I have been turned down from banks and credit unions and scammed by investors. I do not have the funds it will take build this dream, nor do I have excellent credit. I just have big Faith and Gods unmerited favor. I lost my job due to the pandemic. I left the credit union in 2019 to pursue my passion in interior design by going to work for Ashley Furniture. It is severely hard for black women to get a loan without excellent credit, and lots of money. I have recently discovered that even now your co-signer has to meet a certain criterion. I have had a hard time getting through to commercial property agents and given false information regarding properties that I inquire about. I have had 3 properties sold from under me because the price of the property was way too expensive and overpriced for the location. I am definitely/desperately praying for a project manager to guide me in all phases of the project from beginning to the end. I would like to have weekly meetings with a check list to make sure that all phases of the project are progressing. I would like to have someone to advise at every step for the betterment of the project and our youth and young adult ladies.
I applied to an investor on Linkedin. I filled out an application via a link from a company called 802 Holdings Inc., I received a contract, signed it, went to Fed-ex to send it back along with of our information. I sent requested documents and closing cost of $1740...only alas, no loan proceeds were received. My heart was crushed because we, or should I say I went to my husband's parents to ask for the $1740. Thomas E. Pearson, my father-in-love, with his unwavering demeanor, graciously gave without hesitancy because of the cause. Through the Center we plan to honor, World War Veteran, Strong Tower, and Pillar of the Community with a nonprofit foundation, The Thomas E. Pearson Our Children of the King Youth and Young Adult Center for Events. Proceeds will go to The Triple I-G-E Movement for sponsorship and scholarships.

We are connected to the community in that we live in the 72206-zip code in Pulaski County. PHbalanced Events will impact families, friends, neighboring communities and all young ladies in the area. The center will be a place where many different families will come from all around to gather and congregate for various occasions and social events. It will also serve as a safe haven for our girls and youth alike. It will be a gated, safe, stable, and professional facility. We will have plenty of outside pole lights and lighting for night safety, adequate parking and security. My husband has served as bodyguard for various artists as they have visited our fair city of Little Rock. We are focusing on this area because it is rural and underdeveloped. And it will provide a place close to our elderly relatives that they may call a home away from home. We have lived in this area as a family since 2015. My husband and his family have lived in this area for their entire lives. He is 48 years of age, and I am 47. We would like to leave a legacy for our community, children and families to come after we are gone for the betterment and enrichment of our young and upcoming society.
I was speaking with the new STEM teacher at the school that I am employed with and she was speaking about some of the same things that I was thinking in my head. That was sign enough for me to apply for this STEM challenge. She encouraged me to do what works!

I believe the Triple I-E-G Movement will benefit by gaining social sustainability which focuses on the construction of a healthy community through both formal and informal measures. Social Sustainability is about good mental health and wellbeing. By creating this movement through our young ladies, we seek to bridge the gaps of inequality. Equality is the inability to get a specific group of individuals to get equal access to facilities or social sustainability issues.
Our non-profit, The Thomas E. Pearson Children of the King Youth and Young Adult Center for Events, will sponsor and provide scholarships to the ladies of Triple IGE Movement for various arts, studies, or travels for school or sports that would broaden the lady's mindset and experiences.
I imagine the center will create jobs for the Southern Central area of Little Rock AR. I believe the center will bring tourism and revenue to Arkansas, because the grounds will have spectacular landscaping and a whimsical scenery.
The company is prepared to introduce the following services to the Market in a One Stop Shop. We would like to provide a safe and recreational option/outlet for parents in the community who need after school care for school age children close to home for an inexpensive weekly or monthly cost. There will be snacks and hot meals prepared.
The program will cater to each individual's needs. Along with other venue activities, the Center will include summer field trips, organized meetings, and music lessons.

My impact goals for the next five years are to empower today's young ladies 11- to 21- years of age one day or event at a time. Secure funding for the vision that God gave me years ago. Plant seeds, water them so that they may grow and better our world for the stability of our youth's future. Another goal would be to leverage the benefits of diversity. Diversity is one of the most important aspects of social sustainability. It involves identifying the needs of all diverse groups, assessing their requirements and encouraging diverse perspectives within the community. I plan to keep applying for grants, sending emails, asking questions and meeting new people until I am planning a ribbon cutting ceremony for this Venue. I started asking God years ago, "What shall he have me do?", I was desolate, down in despair, 39 and divorced, with two very impressionable little girls. I could not fail them.
Habakkuk 2:2
The Lord answered me: Write down this vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets so one may easily read it.
I have been buying tablets ever since.
With this movement we want to transform young ladies and the community who otherwise would not have an opportunity, including my own young daughters.

My developmental goals are as follows:
Obtained a business license and Tax ID in the status with myself as sole proprietor.
Completed a monthly Income Budget fee sheet with the businesses' intake and expenditures for phases and stages of the project. Angela Gardner UALR SBA Development Center.
Compiled several Business Plans through rough drafts.
Met with a realtor, shared my vision, discussed, location, style, wants and needs and viewed several properties. We have also viewed several properties on our own.
I have several tablets and notebooks with meeting notes of rules, regulations, and protocol for the first stages of the project.
I have met with dignitaries and business owners within the community and surrounding areas to inquire their feedback and interest in the news of an Event Center for this particular area.
I have spoken with and compiled a list of participants for the movement.
I have spoken with a various counselor, colleagues, and educators regarding the programs for this project and they are eager to play a part.
We have spoken with various members of the family to introduce, inquire and gain knowledge and input to the project.
We have located an SBA Lendor willing to go on this Venture with us. We received an application and guidelines. Arkansas Federal Credit Union.
We have spoken with an insurance agent in regard to the business' health care, financial planning and retirement services. Latonya Bosley, Primerica.
I have obtained contact information for the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board and Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.
I have acquired the Articles of Incorporation for Profit and Nonprofit Entities and the requirements for an LLC.

My theory is simple, Actual Experiences. The mere fact that I am co-parenting with an ex-husband from another state, being a First Lady, helping to raise my 3 daughters, helping to raise Godsons, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and attempt to educate in today's society is proof that we're on to something. No family is perfect, however with hard work, dedication, a Godly spirit, love, financial stability, and a plan we can accomplish whatever we set our minds to. Realizing the common good that the final outcome will establish and set forth for years to come. This movement will help sustain a rural area and develop the land, unite surrounding communities, save lives and create jobs for a misfortunate area.
Family owned businesses contribute 57% of the GDP and employ 63% of the workforce. (Family Enterprise USA, 2011). In other words, 98 million people are employed by B-owned businesses.
30% of family businesses survive the transition from first to second generation ownership, 12% survive the transition from second to third generation, and 13% of family businesses remain in the family over 60 years.
PHbalanced Events will overcome those barriers and break generational curses by communicating the vision plainly and collectively with common objectives, encouraging collaboration between teams, creating multi-skilled teams, using necessary collaborating tools and resorting back to training and professional development periodically.

In regard to the building and maintenance, by being in a rural area, we are looking into a Generac Home/Commercial generator. I read that a Tri-State Standby Generator would ensure that we would not be in the dark when a power outage occured. Also, we are looking into using the Epson RapidReceipt RR-600W Wireless Desktop Color Duplex Receipt and Document Scanner with Receipt Management Software, Touchscreen and Auto Document Feeder to keep us well organized. We are also looking to save as much as possible when building and furnishing this center. We will be looking to reduce electric, water and gas utilities costs by purchasing energy saving businesses equipment. We will also add insulation, use LED lighting.
We have also considered the three most popular sources of energy, Solar energy, Wind energy and Hydro energy. We will look for outsourcing opportunities and will never stop improving.

Our products and services are superior to our competitors because by surveying nearly 50 wedding planning sites, the average wedding price ranges from $1000-$7000. We will be priced competitively to offer quality service for a fraction of the cost. The average wage for afterschool care is $11.50/hour. We will pay our staff an above-industry wage to ensure we utilize their expertise and retain a valuable and healthy, pool of employees. The educators that we have chosen are licensed in the Little Rock and Pulaski School District to provide an afterschool curriculum.
I have been working on my solution and Venue since March of 2007. I remember doing my first wedding for a friend from college. I received $600 cash. At the time I was living in Dallas, TX. The wedding was in Shreveport, LA. My hotel, florals and gas were paid by the bride's dad. This has been a dream. I used to feed the homeless in Downtown Dallas on summer days in 2010-2011. I have been collecting clothes, games, toys, shoes, and household items for the local women's shelter and the Neamiah house for homeless for about 9 years.
PHbalanced Events plans to build up a community that will celebrate diversity, motivate equity and practice inclusion throughout staffing within the Center by including all spectrums of ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, generations, disability and personality types. We will promote inclusion by asking questions to make lasting connections, we will be an ally to the community, consider all stereotypes. On a personal note, we will quickly engage when called upon by the community to act in times of need. We intend to exercise diversity in our daily lives in all aspects. By trying new experiences and using old traditions, learning new skills. All while offering a broader and less selfish version of ourselves, we can build a more stable, and effective society. We want to make sure everyone feels welcomed and invited. One simple goal of daily life at the Center is to treat everyone as you would want to be treated. Our solution will offer a unique and creative solution to human female and male social sustainability. Specifically meeting the needs of young women in regard to this challenge.
Another dimension of social sustainability is social cohesion. There are two types of cohesion: task and social. Task cohesion refers to the commitment of each group member to the purpose and activity of the group. Social cohesion refers to the attraction and liking among group members. This dimension involves the participation of an individual in a target group to deeply understand, recognize, and become aware of the power and privilege of the various aspects of their identity. This movement will empower young girls within our team to ignite, innovate, and take the initiative to sustain in today's society of young successful women.
Our Marketing plan details our products and services at thus.
We will include an indoor/outdoor wedding venue with indoor/outdoor reception options and packages. We will also host banquets, parties, retreats, showers, an afterschool program and summer program with outside activities. The outside activities include a basketball court, tennis court, a playground area, nature trails and whimsical gardens and fountains for photographs. The center will also offer on the spot floral decor, wedding props, jewelry making, catering packages, photograph y packages, music lessons and specialized counseling.
To further our mission, we would like to provide a safe recreational outlet to the community who need after school care for school age children close to home for an inexpensive weekly or monthly cost.
This market will target a young and old generation of people. It will target all diverse, consumer and business markets. I believe this center will generate much revenue for the state of Arkansas.
The services are needed because patrons are always looking for a safe, sizeable, inexpensive place to hold events. With this Center we will uniquely accommodate their expectations. We are attempting to create a one stop shop for our community and surrounding area within a single entity.
We feel the center is greatly needed because, we live far out from the city and have a lot of family. We would be serving both the elderly and young. They would benefit because there is no other facility within 100 miles of the area where the center will be located.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)

Thus far, we have managed to obtain two ppp loans and pay them off through hosting weddings, baby showers, and social events. On a grand scale, this center would broaden our scope and prepare us for greater success. Once, we obtain funding we will be well capable of securing financial stability for our Center. We have spoken with Angelar Gardner with the UALR SBA Department, with SBA Senior Loan officer Randy Williamson, Tim Smith, Arkansas dept of Rural Development, Biship Kenneth L Robinson and Chosen BKLR Movement, and Owner of Robinsons Mortuary, a prominent dignitary and pillar of the community, along with Wrightsville City Mayor, Derrick Rainey, Sweet Home Former Mayor Greg Mahler and Susan Coleman, Sweet Home, AR current Mayor.
We plan to apply the formula for efficiency in our Center. https://www.investopedia.com says that Efficiency can be expressed as a ratio by using the following formula: Output divided by Input. Output, or work output, is the total amount of useful work completed without accounting for any waste and spoilage.
