Exposure-Knowledge-Confidence-Empower
Women are the fasted growing population or entrepreneurs in America. However, many of the companies are small and lack the technological edge needed to survive in today’s tech-based world. Women also fall behind young men in their interest in STEM and STEM related opportunities by the time they are in middle school. Our company at its core is designed to bridge both grants. Our company women twofold: via summer camps and building applications based on the SAAS (Software as a Service) model.
This helps women in a variety of ways. The summer camps provide exposure to technology and hands own experience with STEM concepts. This also helps them build a portfolio of work. This is essential not only for confidence building, but the portfolio of actual work and application is huge when looking for job opportunities. We are also help women business owners in the community by providing SAAS services that can help their companies grow. As these companies grow and use modern technology, the owners and community are exposed to technology from an entrepreneur standpoint.
1. We are raising funds to do summer camps. We want to focus on churches, schools, and foster homes/adoption centers. By focusing on these three locations, we will have a consistent audience and direct contact with all marginalized communities. We want to have a STEM van so that we may go to where the people are. Teaching and exposing kids at young age builds a solid foundation for continued growth.
2. We create websites, landing pages and data for small businesses. We are building templates using WIX, Microsoft Sway, MYSQL databases and data visualization tools such as Tableau. Once we automate many of our processes and create a streamline process, we will hire young women in high school and college to use our templates to customize applications for small businesses. We want to use the non-profit funds so we can deliver these services free to small minority and female owned business at no cost.
The target population is young adult's pre-k through high school and small business owners. We have many events and festivals we attend in our community. We fly drones/code robots and speak about the benefits of knowing STEM. We attend churches and speak to pastors about the desire to have additional camps and activities related to STEM. Our camps will focus on STEM and exposure to its opportunites for career growth.
We use Microsoft Sway to create forms that allow us to address the needs of small business owners. What resources are you lacking? Do you have a media presence that is focused on your customers? Do you have a way to measure or track your customers purchasing habits. We build applications to address these needs. We also build websites for weddings, anniversaries, special events etc.
Our company is 100% minority owned and operated and 80% of the employees are women. The staff is aged from 16 to 47. We have firsthand knowledge of the community we want to impact. Our Mission: "To introduce coding and programming to all communities so everyone can adapt and prosper in the world of tomorrow" encompasses the goal of this solution at its core. My daughter came up with this idea because she felt that her and people like her are missing out an opportunity to positively impact themselves, their family and their community. I understand her passion as I am part of the marginalized community we hope to advance.

We have three partnerships. One of our partners is currently working with us as we build out an application that fits their business needs. Have mentored/tutored over 20 young kids and we participate in one summer camp.
We are moving from a profit to a non-profit. The reason is solely financial. We operate in Southwest Georgia and most of the businesses and/or population we focus on lack the necessary funding to pay for our products. Technology and access to technology has a huge overhead cost. By going non-profit, we hope to circumvent the cost barrier by relying on grants and donations so that we can provide our solutions for little or no cost.
Payton Bush is the co-owner of the business. She is 16, so I support here in this venture until she becomes of age to handle it on her own. This is her dream and her passion. She provides most of the solutions, she builds the curriculum for the classes. Payton already provides training to youth via her robotics club. Her robotics club was in the top 20 in points in worlds. There is a lot of support for her.
