KOTO Association is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ community driven platform for Upskilling, Job Matching and Financial Inclusion.
KOTO is an acronym that stands for "Know One, Teach One." This innovative web-based platform is attempting to onboard three distinct groups of people: course providers, learners/students, and companies/employers.
Our proprietary AI algorithms will help to analyse and predict the skills requirement in order to solve the inefficiencies in the labour market as well as to offer skills for students to learn. Our AI Algorithm also analyses and predicts future skills required for companies, private and public organisations for recruitment purposes as well as to produce the best talent pools. This will enable an AI ‘Automatic Job Matching’ where people can be employed anytime and anywhere to match employers with possible employees with desired skills. This is to tackle Malaysia's structural and frictional unemployment issues.
KOTO Association is matching with three groups of different entities which are students, course providers and employers.
KOTO Association segments a market by providing membership signup opportunities to over 24 million of Malaysian and Nigerian student population and gig workers.
KOTO Association’s main goal is to help people live in a more up-to-date data driven technology, so that is the main reason why we are targeting any market in general, but there are specific reasons we will tailor content to our different market segments.
Students/ Learners: They usually have a low-level of income so we are not counting on this market to provide us revenue in the way of product sales, but we are targeting students because of the importance that they become educated and valuable to the society
Course Providers: This is our largest market and our true target for generating revenue. They have the highest possibility and are the most likely to sell their courses that they are providing to learners.
Employers: They most likely have to look for any eligible candidates that meet the job requirements and are able to perform tasks as listed in the job description. The most important thing is employers get educated workers with relevant employable skills.
KOTO Association founders are Edwin Loh who has 25 years of experience in venture building, a serial entrepreneur and the founder of The Xpress Train and Steve Edwards, over 22 years experienced and seasoned entrepreneur.
MIYAVI LIN is the Chief Technology Officer with over 10 years in software development. He leads the team to develop the KOTO platform.

We stand in-between the industry and the government policy to reduce unemployment and poverty trap that is caused by the pandemic and lack of skill set required by the industries. We create a platform which is the meeting point for employers to list the skill sets needed and trained workers in relevant skills are matched. The government with their various interventions have a platform to play with with great incentive to the learner and the employers of labour.
We intend to raise money through government upskilling grants and raising investment capital also.
We have private public sector collaboration with a good number of Government Linked Companies in Malaysia.
