After a border opened in 2022, I made a trip abroad in 30 day without using cash in Bali. Several issues happens along the way:.
* Hard to approach locals with/ without internet. Lots of businesses closed, but the internet did not update. The algorithms often hide information. Also, there are plenty of new businesses without info on the internet.
* Payment for local businesses as a traveler. They prefers cash, mostly small money. Even there is a cashless option but not every business has it. Travelers have to pay more for every cashless transaction.
* Lots of scam businesses. Also, bad business selling low quality and fake products on the internet. And inflating prices. Unfortunately this happens to both locals and travelers.
The above issues happen again in my country when I try to make a search in a new area or domain of knowledge.
The mission is to rebuild broken parts between the internet and the real world. Right now, we just try to close the gap between those two world using knowledge of a traveler assisted by an AI assistant. Similar to a travel agency, the app is how you plan and explore the world at one place. Instead of moving between different channels, media, blogs, websites, payments, etc it will help you aggregate data and present it in a nice way. Some examples are at thelivingbook.substack.com
Through a story of travelers, the app serves a user experience by enhancing our capability to explore the world. Instead of a pre-designed tours or time consuming searches, it packs everything at one place and in a organized manner. Also it prioritizes personal experience and intuition over algorithm-based recommendations when searching for experiences. While online reviews and recommendations can be useful, they should not be the only factor in decisions. On the other sides, it helps updates and promote more local businesses in a more authentic way. That helps us build a general view of how the world look like from the bottom up process. And from those two views, we could build better finance solutions to buffer those two segments towards the greater risk like climate change/ disasters and more.
I am proud to be a thrift traveler. Many years I dropped out of my PhD to pursue a very unfancy research. All I have was just my saving from a few months as a grad person. More than that, the research required me to travel and live in the West. I did not have much external support, so my hack was by effectively spending money. I traveled to some countries and did all kind local market research to hunt deals in a few years. Ate and lived like a local. Bonus some French and American accents.

Incorporate AI in the finance projection, management, suggestions with human input.
Lots of individuals and SMEs could not afford it due to a lack of education resources and management. Here we help people foresee the future better and real-time data/ human input via their processes.
Here we start small with a persona of a traveler via F&B inferences first. Then options for transportation. The current user journey is how to optimize experiences by small money as a local in a country.
The impact we hope to make here is about spending money in an efficient way as a traveler. And also for sellers, to promote authentic businesses that offer good numbers with quality experiences.
The best thing we hope for is to accelerate a market's deflation in short term. In long term, we hope to put AI as a personal assistant to help us gather knowledge and build a view of the world via a combine of numbers and experiences.

We are a startup of Microsoft founders hub ($5k in credits), AWS segment ($5k in credits), and a Pre-seed fund called Pioneer.app (est. $21k in crypto and a mixed of $500k in credits for several startup offers)
