KASESE WOMEN OF WORTH GROUP. We trian women hand skills.

Kasese Women of Worth group is handling the problem of reducing poverty among the Ugandan woman through training them vocational skills like hair dressing and design, tailoring, soap production, Jelly production and craft making. These are skills we train our women in our group but we don't have the facilities like;

1: a salon for practicing hair dressing.

2: we need sewing machines.

3:we need raw materials for making soap and jelly.

4: we also lack raw materials for making craft products.

KASESE WOMEN OF WORTH GROUP WISH TO ERADICATE POVERTY AMONG THE WOMEN IT TAKES CARE OF THROUGH TRAINING THEM AND EMPOWERING THEM IN FOUR SKILLS. ONE, HAIR DRESSING, TAILORING,SOAP PRODUCTION AND JELLY PRODUCTION.

ONCE GIVEN FUNDING, WE SHALL BE ABLE TO BUY EQUIPMENTS AND WE MAKE A NICE FEMALE SALON WHERE OUR WOMEN SHALL BE CARRYING OUT PRACTICE.

WE ALSO NEED TO BUY TAILORING MACHINES AND EQUIPE A ROOM WHERE OUR WOMEN IN THE SECTOR OF TAILORING SHALL BE ABLE TO LEARN FROM.

WE LASTLY WISH TO SET UP A JELLY AND SOAP PRODUCTION CENTRE WE SHALL BE GATHERING WOMEN SPECALIZING IN THIS SECTOR. THEREFORE,YOUR HELP TO US IN UGANDA WILL BE MEANINGFUL.

WHY DID WE THINK OF GOING INTO TRAINING OUR WOMEN IN THESE FOUR AREAS? WE FOUND ALL OF THEM DIDNT LOVE TO TRAIN IN ONE, SO WE HAD TO DIVIDE THEM ACCORDING TO THEIR WISHES, SO WE HAVE FOUR GROUPS THAT WE HAVE MADE OUT OF OUR ONE BIG GROUP.

KASESE WOMEN OF WORTH GROUP IS HAVING TWO HUNDRED WOMEN AND TWENTY MEN. SO ALL MEMBERS ARE TWO HUNDRED TWENTY. SO EVERY GROUP HAS FIFTY WOMEN.

OUR WOMEN IN UGANDA LIVE IN THE SUDDEST AND SORROWFUL AND MYSTERY LIFE. AS YOU KNOW PEOPLE HERE DEPEND ON FARMING THAT IS TO CROP FARMING MOSTLY WOMEN SURFFER ALOT WITH SURVIVAL IN HOMES. THAT IS WHY KASESE WOMEN OF WORTH GROUP WISH TO EMPOWER THE WOMEN TO IMPROVE THE STANDARDS OF LIVING IN UGAND AND IN OUR COMMUNITY.

SOME MEN HERE LIKE TO MARRY MANY WOMEN AND YET WHEN THEY CANT AFFORD MAINTAINING THEM. THATS IS WHY MOST OF THE WOMEN HERE LOOK LIKE WIDOWS AND CHILDREN LOOK LIKE ORPHANS DUE THE WAY THEY LOOK.

THE COMING OF KASESE WOMEN OF WORTH GROUP THROUGH YOUR HELP WE SHALL BE ABLE SOLVE THE CHALLENGE OF POVERTY AMONG OUR WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY IN UGANDA.

Once funded our solution will be serving women and young girls who have dropped out of schools and thoses who have got early pregnancy at an early age.

In Uganda most of the women become women at an early age. Most of our parents are poor and they don't give school fees and other facilities to enable their girl children to complete schools so at the end these ladies end up getting into women. That is why here in Uganda women problems are becoming rumpant .

Most of  our women in Uganda are approving to be many and the problem is that these women have produced many children which children are now a challenge to our young mother's as others just produce while they are not married. This comes in search for money. So as women look for money from men, they end up practicing picking men at rondom.

Once funded, women will be busy in their business and they will not think much about getting money from men. This will transform the lives of women in Uganda and KASESE WOMEN OF WORTH GROUP at large.

As we have a group of 200 vulnerable women, that we need to save their lives. We hope we are worth to serve this solution to the people in Kasese.

KASESE WOMEN OF WORTH GROUP has got the suitable leadership i.e ,

Masereka Amos as the project Director, Muhindo Fedres as the Women Coordinator, Muhindo Allen as the Human Resource, Rev. Hezekiah Mwanguhya as the Overseer, Kabugho Ruth as the Community Health Officer, Biira Oliva as the Treasure of the group, Kabugho Jovia as the Accountant, Kiiza Hellen as General Secretary among others.

As make outreaches in our community, we sort and identify vulnerable women who needs help and observed that once trained any school it can change her life, such women we adopt them in Kasese Women of Worth group.

We wish to do the following once funded.

1: Buying tailoring machines.

2: Making salons for women.

3: Buying raw materials for making soap and jelly.

I believe that once funded, our women are going to change completely in terms of earning and these projects are aimed to change even the community because some other women outside the group will be employed to  teach the four skills we have identified. Our solution will improve the lives of the women and their children especially by getting fees for their children out the projects we are aiming to start as soon as possible. We believe when we start our production in tailoring,jelly making,soap making and hair dressing, we shall give the best quality which everyone will admire, hence change in the market.

We aim to achieve the following;

1:Having self reliant woman able to compete in this challenging world.

2:To have the best hair dressing salon in Kasese.

3: To have the best fashion designers that will out compete the best.

4: To start a big Savings and Credit scheme in Kasese.

5: To cofund each other in development issues.

6: To cater for individual differences among the women.

7: To reduce domestic violence among the families where our members come from.

8: To ensure gender inequalities.

9: To promote unity among the women in the group and outside in the community.

10: To be problem solving oriented among our women and our community at large.

We are humbled to share a few among many of our indicators.

Our women group is united that is one of the tools we use to make survive.

We have got hardworking people that enables us to keep our stone rolling.

We trust each other financially and we handle each other funds safely.

We do fight hard support each other in time of sorrows and time of happeness i.e we contribute to any fellow who my loose arelative and to that member who may be doing weddings,or any celebration.

We are delighted to be a church founded group which has to to follow the church conditions.

We are happy with each other though we don't have women from the same denomination i.e we register women from all religions.

Our target gender is the females women and girls who have dropped out schools at an early age or having produced at an early age.we cater for all these to train them with hand skill to fight poverty.

We have tried to unite women from different religions and different village to come together and aern aliving.

We have made women not to keep waiting for food from men and today women are pilots of their families.

We hope once these women are empowered through you, our community will shine.

When we achieve your help our women are going to train fully machines of tailoring,those that work in hair dressing salon and skills of mixing ingredients of making soap and jelly.

We have organized to have four skill centres where a woman will be free to train in any skill she feels she wants. I.e Tailoring centre, Hair dressing centre, Soap production centre,and Jelly production centre.

We are having four business sectors and women who have skills and they do group business on small scale.

Our women deal in hair dressing, tailoring,soap production and jelly production but we do all these on small scale that is why we need your help.

We humbly request for your help and that will enable us to be stable.

We do local contributions from our members that is one of the ways we can live longer.

We deal in farming, small scale businesses and that will enable us to be firm on the ground and we wish to pattern with you.
