Agro Initiative Farm Africa
1. Specific Objective
Educating Farmers about modern agriculture skills,providing them with equipment such as agriculture tools: Tractors,Pesticides,insecticides etc and financial assistance with less interests seasonally or bringing back their produces in return equivalent to the loan granted to them respectively.
We are aiming at reaching out to 3,000,000 farmers

- Project Justification
The project is a three-fold strategy, in that it seeks to create a viable income generation project of “Agro Initiative Farm Africa Organization”, giving it an alternate way to support its daily activities and to improve the welfare of the farmers.The project will produce agricultural products for sale and the proceeds will not only assist the organization to meet the basic necessities of life for the farmers such as medical care and scholastic materials, but also reduce the financial costs the organization spends on buying these products for daily consumption
- Project Results
- The project will create employment for at least 3,000,000 Farmers who are currently not employed in meaningful activities. This employment will give them an alternative way to generate income, decreasing their dependency on handouts, and thereby decreasing their risk of poverty and living useless livelihood in their community respectively.
- In the first year, the project will have at least 3,000,000 Farmers that will produce agricultural produces for sale which will raise the revenue/ returns of approximately, $ 4,000,000.
Farmers in villages around Uganda. We are planning to reach out to 3,000,000 farmers in this year when we get your grant.
They luck agricultural tools,knowledge and investment capital, so our organization will provide them with some loans which will be returned in cash or in produces they plant
Good livelihood will be achieved. Hence positive productivity in the community.
- Project sustainability
In the initial stage, the project will be sustained by donor funds. However, in the long run the project will finance itself. Part of the funds will be used to execute the organization while another percentage will be re-invested in the agricultural produces and smart gardens/farms business to expand the project, hence increasing sales and profits.
- Management and Implementation of the Project
AGENCY CAPACITY:
The organization has the capacity to run the proposed project effectively. In the first place, it has some experience in agricultural produces, and it can collaborate with the district agricultural officer to conduct more training to its staff so that they gain more skills and knowledge on how to implement smart gardens on a large scale
- Implementation
The project will be executed by the organization. However, it will set up a separate project committee which will be responsible for the day to day coordination and implementation of the project activities. It will also be responsible for planning, supervising, monitoring and reviewing all project activities.
Implementation of the project activities will call for close collaboration with a wide range of partners such as potential buyers of agricultural products, sellers of animal feeds, District agricultural department, and the project funders.
This will enhance the opportunities for the realization of the broad goals and objectives of this project.
Monitoring and evaluation
General Monitoring and evaluation will be an on going activity throughout the project life. Monitoring will be routinely done through meetings monthly reports, check lists, and support supervision visits. These reports shall indicate the constraints and challenges in the implementations and necessary adjustments that had been taken. Progress evaluation will be done through use of monthly quarterly reports, steering committee meetings, annual report, registry records, work pans indicating planned and accomplished activities, functional accountability for project resources including equipment, facilities, assets and activities.

This will help farmers to get loans in order to expand on their capital, which will enable them to invest in a variety of agricultural produces on their farms to increase on their income economically.
Agriculture Consultancy
This service aims at equipping farmers with modern agricultural skills and benefits.
Implementing a farmer’s electronic Application software (Agro Initiative Farm Africa App) to improve on their technical know how concerning modern farming.
Setting up Smart Gardens
Smart Gardens will enable farmers create income generating activities to eradicate poverty in their communities and also create employment opportunities.

It will be received to the special bank account in the name of the project will be opened to cater for only project funds. To ensure effective control, management and monitoring of project funds, no single signatory will be allowed to access project funds, and the signatories of this account will be three. Under the consent of the three and approval of the committee funds will be withdrawn from the bank and utilized for the intended purpose. However, we are soon legalizing the bank account in the organization’s name.

We will be using our initiated Agro Initiative Farm Africa software and mobile Application as an information technology know how to educate or skill 3,000,000 farmers. However, by modern science we are going to implement smart garden/farming and also equip farmers with agricultural materials and giving them loans to boost their smart gardening innovation/investment.
