webworx virtual hub
We are working to solve the problem of limited access to resources for entrepreneurs looking to launch a business. This is a global problem that affects millions of people. Many of these individuals lack the financial capital and access to mentorship, resources, and networks that could help them succeed in starting a business. Our solution provides a platform of resources, mentorship, and support to help entrepreneurs launch their businesses despite resource constraints. Additionally, we provide financial and business education to help entrepreneurs develop the skills necessary to succeed.
Our solution is Webworx Virtual Hub, a startup accelerator designed to help entrepreneurs launch their businesses by providing resources, mentorship, and support. We use a combination of virtual and in-person workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions to guide entrepreneurs through the process of launching a business. We have built a 1-year curriculum that takes them through step by step from the problem, solution, getting clients, growing, partnership and eventually getting hosted at a partnership hub for growth.
Our target population is entrepreneurs and small businesses that lack access to the resources and mentorship needed to launch a successful business. This population is largely underserved in terms of access to the resources, capital, and networks needed to succeed. Through our solution, we are providing a platform of resources, mentorship, and support to help these entrepreneurs launch their businesses. We are also providing financial and business education to help them develop the skills necessary to succeed. We group the startups into two, over 18 and under 18.
The team behind Webworx Virtual Hub includes entrepreneurs, business professionals, and mentors with experience in launching and scaling businesses. We are passionate about helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals and have a deep understanding of the challenges they face. We are actively engaging with the communities we serve, through community events, workshops, and one-on-one sessions. We believe in the importance of listening to the perspectives of those we are serving and using their insights to inform the design and implementation of our solution. Our goal is to ensure that our solution is tailored to the needs of the communities we serve and that it is meaningful and valuable to them.

We hope Solve can help us overcome financial, technical, and legal barriers. We are looking for partners to help us secure funding for our solution, as well as technical partners to help us build and scale our platform. Additionally, we are looking for legal partners to help us navigate the regulatory environment and ensure that our solution is legally compliant in all jurisdictions. We are also looking for partners who can help us reach our target population and engage with the communities we are working with.

Our solution approaches the problem in a new and improved way by using a combination of machine learning and blockchain to anaylse data and offers stakeholder groups from investors and employees a stake in the startups. Our solution can be used to provide real-time sentiment analysis, enabling businesses and organizations to understand their customers better and respond to their needs in a timely and effective manner.
Our solution could catalyze broader positive impacts from others in the space by providing them with a powerful tool for understanding how startups fail and what we can do to prevent this, especially in an African setting. We work with young people to help them understand what they like and what areas they feel they can identify interesting problems to solve and create a business. With unemployment increasing a lot of young people will depend on their skills in running businesses to have careers.
Most small startups face challenges when it comes to hiring lawyers and other qualified professions they would need to run their businesses successfully, we hope to provide not just templates but a whole system that makes it more affordable to access professionals and local investment.
We expect to triple the supported startups every 6 months with the goal of creating an online startup school and local investment opportunities for the public.
year two would be an expansion in one or two east African countries once we have modeled both a system and partnerships.
by year 5 we would expect to be in various African countries supporting African solutions across the continent.

the startups we work with
The startup success rates are based on creativity, strategy, MVP, clients, revenue, and partnerships
Investment the startup has attracted
Most small startups do not get much funding, the amounts they need are usually small and they solve local problems. we aim to be able to get them the small funding they need usually between 3000 to 6000 USD and focus on the local problem being solved and ensure the market is big enough for them to run a sustainable business. We will also collect data to analyze both failure and success to help build future startups and get an understanding of where most failures are occuring.
at this stage we are building the manual system, we use discord for weekly calls, zoom for one-to-one sessions, and workshops on a monthly basis as catchup and recruiting interns who can work for the startup.
we will begin building the online platform in blockchain in the coming weeks to cater to startups, employees, and investors.
the machine learning portion will be built at the end of the year and begin analyzing data from 2024.
we are not focusing on technology first because most of our startups based in rural areas are not building technology solutions but local physical solutions, we need to get a good understanding of how technology we build will help both rural and urban innovators.

My approach to incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusivity into my work is to make sure that I am creating an inclusive and safe space for all individuals. This means implementing measures such as actively recruiting from diverse backgrounds, promoting equitable hiring practices, and providing equitable access to resources. Additionally, I strive to be mindful of the experiences of people from all backgrounds and be willing to listen, learn, and actively work to create a more equitable and inclusive environment. We have a balanced team of 2 men and women and with all local solutions, the aim is to power startups with the local representation of both men and women.
of the 7 startups we are working with, 3 are female-led, for us to improve communities we understand that women must play a big role not just in that more opportunities for women mean more opportunities for their families but in many rural areas the lack of electricity and piped water takes away many women opportunities to focus on income generation.
We retain 20% of each startup and sell this off to angel investors in year 2.
we charge between 33 and 66 USD every month for the first year
we get 20% of the startups revenue
we provide a startup school, support in running the business day-to-day, reduced cost on professional services, help them build their team.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
with the monthly billings and 20% ownership sales after year 2. we will have the means to keep generating money each year and possibly lower the monthly payments to get more startups involved.
We hope to raise some money as we move towards the middle of this year to help us keep running for the year.
we are starting the under-18 youth courses in June, these will be billed at 33 USD monthly for year one and the expected turnout is at about 50 to 100 initial students.
for the above 18 startups, we have a line-up of 10 and the monthly billing of 66 USD will be used to help them build their businesses.
the first-year cost is high which means our year numbers are limited but once we have sold our holding of the first set of startups in year 2 being a little more cash-rich we can reduce the monthly costs to get more startups each preceding year.
