The importance of the project lies in the non-use of cork as a packing material in the field of pipes and the absence of a similar invention capable of making ready-made cork for wrapping pipes instead of wood, which contains major problems. One of the most important of these problems is the high price of wood, especially in my country, due to the lack of The existence of forests and also the use of wood harms the environment greatly because it is a material that is not recycled for use again, which affects the environment and then the atmosphere and the different temperatures and others. In addition to that, the use of wood destroys more than 25% of the wood transported from the factory to the merchant as a result of pressure Which falls on pipes and wood, unlike cork, cannot absorb this pressure.
It is an electronically developed machine that cuts slices of well-pressed cork, and then the machine cuts three circles depending on the width of the pipe needed to be wrapped. It is cut and inserted in the last stage, where the pressure on the cork slice is measured and measure how much weight the piece can hold, and then the machine takes the cork and removes it from the machine ready to wrap the plastic pipes intended for water, gas, and others. All this is the result of long research on prices and the importance of cork to replace the wood currently used in the Egyptian factories that we visited and other modern factories. After analyzing the data and showing the results, we found that using the cork in a modern way using the fully automatic machine will save the packaging price to an extent that reaches in some sizes. to 70% or more.And what increases its efficiency is that it uses recycled white cork which decreases the cost of the used white cork and we can get benefit from the saved money, also after packaging the pipes and the pipes goes to the working area we can take back the white cork to recycle it and use it again which will decrease the cost needed for one pipe even more.
the solution serves the economy of all the countries it also serves the forests and green areas it helps in stopping the increase in temperature and global warming it saves money for the factory that can use in another things like planting trees. It gives an opportunity in these days to save electricity because it uses a very small amount of energy that it can work with a solar cell. People are going to live with a fresh air and more green areas economy will not fall due to some woods instead it will get benefit from both sides from the trees and from the recyclable white cork that will save more money than any one on the planet think.
we are in stem school we love projects and we desperately searching for solutions to help our country to develop and become better we have a background on electronics and these staff and alittle experience with mechanical machines and robotics that helped use developing this special project that works automatically with no human hands.
First going to factories and searching for data and information we took some analysed data from the factories we visited to help in our reaserch after that we started looking for replacments and other solutions that can help us. Finally after we found the replacment which is the white cork we started constructing the prototype from the beginning and we put some requirements that we want as first the automatic part so that we don't need any workers and also adding the pressure part to know if our white cork plate after cutting is good to package a machine or not.
