An application that enables one access information on what to do in case of an emergency, first-aid tips and online consultation. Also shows health centres near by based on location.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

1.Help save lives through tips on what to do in case of an emergency.

2.Ensure people in the community access health information from a health practitioner through online consultation this save on time and resources.

Based on estimation, more than half the population in my community don't go to hospital or acquire information from a health practitioner unless a condition worsens. This quick access to information and consultation will make it easier thus play a major part in both ensuring a healthy community and curbing AMR.

Again many people pass on incase of an emergency for lack of information on how to handle the situation by those around.

What is your solution?

The future is tech, I therefore decided to come up with this application which my team and I are working on the coding. It will be a mobile app with a login details and subscription where one gets emergency and first-aid tips. It will also have a consultation page where based on the condition there will be several departments where qualified specialist will use our app to provide their services and patients will reward them with stars based on information and services provided.

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

My solution will serve both specialists through job opportunities and the general population who will acquire appropriate information and required consultation.

The job market for health practitioners is becoming less more everyday, with this digital way of online consultation, will create a job market for them.

It will also save patients time and resources and also work on ensuring the curb of Antimicrobial resistance which is mostly on the patients self prescription...this is because through consultation, patient will be able to see the doctor through facetime and will be more like the physical one only not touching and based on the same, the patient will be given directions and connected through an appointment to a nearby health center that will be linked to the app for physical check up saving on time and resources.

How are you and your team well-positioned to deliver this solution?

My team has software developers and medical practitioners through these skills we are thus able to work together and come up with a integrated solution.

Software developers from my team had come up with am application that is fully functional for traffic and law...we therefore decided to come up with a solution that's gonna impact the lives and heath in particular, of people in our community.

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

We have done the research on a sample population where we realized that more than 80% of the population in our community buy over the counter medication and prescribe their own medication. Most people gave the reason for these as lack of time to visit the hospital and long wait in hospital when they get there thus wastage of time. Our solution serves to save on time as it is instant through just a phone dial at the comfort of your house. Again if need be, an appointment is booked at an exact time when it's just you so no wait thus saves of time.
