We provide automation tools for local sporting communities and athletes to improve their management, engagement and revenue generation.
We are enabling local sporting communities and athletes to manage their activities and engage their audiences better. Local sporting communities are currently mismanaged and inaccessible to the general public. This has made a lot of them redundant and badly affected their revenue generation capabilities. A lot of them now turn to expensive instagram advertisements and whatsApp groups to help revive the communities but we provide a better and well tailored approach to their needs
Our professional sport programmes do not support local communities, many of them being self funded and expensive to manage. Local communities do not also have the necessary funding or expertise to bring about neccesary innovation as required. Therefore, a lot of people stop playing sports in general because of poorly managed local communities are and community bonding is on the decline.
Local sporting communities and athletes would be able to run their activites with quality professional grade automated tools and this is inline with our value proposition to enable sporting communities in Africa operate better and sustain themselves. Our mission is to eradicate proverty, promote good health and well being and Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainale through sports which is in relation to SDG goals 1 ,3 and 11.
Our solution is a platform that automates management, engagement and revenue generation for local sporting communities and athletes.
We created a mobile app that allows organisers create matches, leagues, tournaments or olympiads easily, manage teams, schedule with a few clicks of a button, promote , reach their target audience , enable live scores and live streaming of their events and use all this to drive their growth.
We've also included statistics and metrics that our users can use to make difficult decisions either as organisers in the communities of as athletes in their athletic journey.
We have dynamically built a platform that categorically handles 30+ sport data structures to give professional grade feel to our users. All this is possible with the use of Flutter (frontend for our mobile applications), NodeJS and Redis (backend of our application), Sql and Firebase (Database)
We are targeting the 70% of the population who play sports and organisers who manage these local events. This would create jobs in the ecosystem as these communities grow. We would also use sports as a medium to promote the SDG goals, team work, co-operation and peace as well as fight against racism, bullying, corruption and sedentary lifestyle.
By providing our automation tools to local sporting communities, there would be more accessibility and online presence for these communities and this would drive their growth and facilitate easier ways for them to manage their activities.
I and my-cofounder met in school while studying Computer science and we were always active in different sporting programmes and tournaments in school.
I am part of the 99 percent of children who played grassroot sports (football, track and rugby) and failed to make is as a professional. My co-founder Semira is a huge tennis fan and an advocate for women inclusion in sports and tech.
There is a huge difference between how professional sports and local sports are run . We believe the difference need not be so .
We understand that sporting communities need our solution to improve their business and the quality of local sports in general and that is what motivates us to build what would catalyse the next generation of local sports in Africa
Our team is highly active in sporting communities in major cities in Nigeria. We speak with our customers often and are in close relation with 7 organisers who are colleagues running local sporting communites/academies.
The trend to manage their activities was the usual pen and paper approach only 1 of them had a poorly managed website which he complained was too complex to manage. For athletes they want to share their journey and compare how they fare amongst other athletes around them.
The features in our prototype have feature to handle the core needs of our users.
- Other: Addressing an unmet social, environmental, or economic need not covered in the four dimensions above.
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
We are providing professional grade automation for local sporting communities, we are also powering 30+ sports on one platform. The possibilities are endless in what positive impact this would have on our local sporting communities and athletes in Africa.
With Africa's young population and love for sport, this would birth a new market in the sporting industry which we are tagging as "Freelance sports" which is an all accessible sporting communities for everyone to play sports at the professional grade in-terms of management and engagement
We envision that our product would be catalytic to open up and make more sporting communities accessible to all and also create jobs in Africa
We aim to be the leading platform of automation tools for sporting communities with 100,000 active users and a high retention rate.
We are a highly analytical team and tracking our progress to detail is very important to us. We want to learn quickly and know what works and what doesn't as we grow.
As stated in our mission and vision using sport as a driving tool for positive change is huge plus for us and we would drive this to help achieve SDG goals, promote peace , tolerance and co-operation.
We also know for certain that this would drive job creation for the sporting sector and communities would begin to hire managers and referees for events, e.t.c
We use of Flutter (frontend for our mobile applications), NodeJS and Redis (backend of our application), MySql and Firebase (Database).
We chose this tech stack because we want to ensure high retention rate of users and mobile apps have a high tendency to drive reccurent users. We also have a huge priority to ensure our solution enables real-time communication and management tools to allow communities engage better with their fans and followers
And for our data we need consistency because we make most of business decisions through analysing our data sets and market behaviour.

Our pilot tests currently run with 1 organiser who runs an after school sports program and 87 athletes who are students.
Once we launch we expect to have 17 communites which we have spoken with onboard along with their estimated 2500 participants.
In our first year we re aiming to have 100,000 active users from active participants in sport in Nigeria
Our servers, plugins require financial commitments. Our customer acquisition process is also costly for organisers because it requires us scheduling demos and tutorials to ensure retention.
We need to recruit more developers, community engagers to help improve our product as we grow.
Our workflows require a bit of learning curve so to speed up this process our team plans to put our tutorials and customer support channels to ensure users are enjoying the full capabilities of our tools
Adaptation of smartphones in some sporting communities is still very low which is why we currently focus on cities, urban areas and schools but we hope to innovate and break these barriers as we grow.
We currently do not partner with any organisation but we would potentially partner with government organisations in sport, universities , academies to help them aggregate their data and improve their sporting activities
We are a software as a service (SAAS) business and we provide our platform to sporting communities to reduce costs and improve management, marketing and operational procedures for these stakeholders. We run a freemium subscription model with 3 different packages for these communities/ athletes to subscribe to.
We provide a mobile platform with automation tools to make processes in various sporting communities easier to carrry out. This would also provide and online presence for many unknown sporting communities.
For our initial launch we are aiming to receive grants to fund our product to market once our pilot tests are completed. We then aim to engage and retain traction and generate revenue before considering other investment opportunities to scale our solution.
Our main target is to ensure that we sustain our business as we grow, and make strategic investments and key patnerships that would ensure that we are the leading automation tool for sporting communties.
