Lifeline
Lifeline is a product that has been developed to solve the problems of ensuring doctors are able to get to medical information through access of ornaments.
Inaccesibility of medical records during emergencies and when moving from one hospital to another
Lifeline medics is an innovation that will incorporate NFC hardware and QR code to medical records to revolutionize how data is stored. We at lifeline will provide smart ornaments that provides vital medical records when necessary. i.e. a ring, wristband.
Our target population is the elderly, minors, and people who may be terminally ill. These are people who may have a lot of medical records, they are bound to visit the hospital regularly. Over 65% of medical errors in Kenya lead to long-term problems and this is caused due to lack of sufficient information thus we intend to share information that is precise and concise with the intention of reducing infant mortality and reduce elderly deaths.
Kiprotich Kimutai and I are web developers with three years experience so we are able to build this project . Cynthia Odawa is a UI/UX designer who helps the team in the design aspect , she has worked as a volunteer nurse where she saw this problem first hand . I have experienced this problem with my father as well and we have seen children get misdiagnosed because of lack of enough medical data on them so we are passionate about this project .

We will sell ornaments, rings, and necklaces, to patients on our platform. This will be embedded with a link to all their medical records. We will also charge a monthly subscription fee . Partnering with insurance companies as well as the government.
Our target as a startup is to develop the product fully so we can hit the market. Once we are in the market we will be able to provide a service that will generate revenue through sales of cards and NFC ornaments. We also hope to acquire service contracts to provide governments with this software.
