Filter that absorbs a percentage of the CO2 and H2O emitted by cars with internal combustion engines in order to generate electric light from these molecules.
The constant expedition of polluting gases generates consequences in the atmosphere, in recent years within the country of Mexico there has been a considerable increase in vehicular activity, the same event that generates consequences in climate change due to the various polluting gases emitted by cars with internal combustion engines, examples of these gases are ozone (O3), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).
Situation that generates a controversy in how not to generate a return in the auto industry or a way to reduce the emission of these gases, but what can we do with the gases that are currently emitted in large quantities?
This idea consists of creating a filter that absorbs a percentage of the CO2 and H2O emitted by cars with internal combustion engines in order to generate electric light from these molecules that will be collected in the post-combustion of the molecules, this process It is done by the car catalyst, so the filter will be located after the catalyst and before the muffler and will be removable since inside the car it will only collect CO2 and H2O.
However the production of electrical energy will take place outside of the car, through an electrochemical reaction that increases the acidity of the water and melts the CO2, this causes an increase in the number of protons and will use the CO2 as a resource to generate electrical energy.
The Mexican community is exposed to the constant increase in atmospheric gases emitted by the cars they use and the increase in their atmosphere, so the creation of this filter will help reduce the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere since it will be used as a resource to generate electricity and will help significantly reduce the release of these gases and use this resource to generate a basic service for humanity, such as electricity from a renewable and polluting source such as CO2.
From personal experience, I can mention that when I woke up and saw a city where the cars, buses, and cargo trucks looked like chimneys that sent "black smoke" into the sky, it hurt me emotionally, I couldn't believe how they were able not to feel pain for "emitting the sky" the smoke that seemed endless, since I knew that at some point we were all going to breathe the same polluted air, so I decided to look for alternatives so that this would no longer happen or that something good could be formed from the bad.
So even though I'm still 18 years old, I have this idea that I want to make come true so that I no longer breathe "black smoke" and use polluting gases to create energy sources from gases that are non-renewable but can be used to form resources like light.
Academically, I have arduous research that would help me generate possible prototypes, but I need engineers who are experts in molecular issues to work hand in hand and thus be able to help our ecosystem.
As this invention is currently still in the idea phase, I have not involved any person or organization in the process, however, I have analyzed the possible people who may be the main benefactors of the project, which would be all those people who use cars with internal combustion engines who would be possible candidates for the application of the filter inside your car, which will be constantly removed to extract the molecules collected from the combustion (co2 and h20) and in a specific plant the electrical energy would be formed outside the car and it would be placed again so that they continue collecting as they use their car.

I consider that this is an innovative idea since it can begin with the change in a new automotive era since a filter would be installed in their cars that will be able to "capture" CO2 and in a new era in the creation of electrical energy since The main resource from which electric energy is intended to be formed is not very unusual, in addition to the fact that it can help reduce the atmospheric impact that car use entails and obtain something positive from the polluting gases that its use generates, which undoubtedly with the passage of time Time will bring an improvement in the Mexican population and in the population of all those countries where cars with internal combustion engines are used, it will reduce atmospheric pollution and people's health.
The objective that we set for this year is to generate the prototype of the filter that will "capture" the CO2 and H2O from the car's post-combustion, this will be achieved through the use of metals that will facilitate its absorption inside the filter, to later work on how the electrochemical reaction between CO2 and H20 will be handled.
This hybrid Na-CO2 cell, adopting efficient CCUS technologies, not only uses carbon dioxide as a resource to generate electric power, but also produces a clean energy source, hydrogen.
Its Na-CO2 hybrid system, like a fuel cell, consists of a cathode (sodium metal), a separator (NASICON) and an anode (catalyst). Unlike other batteries, the catalysts are contained in the water and are connected by a wire to a cathode. When CO2 is injected into water, the entire reaction begins, removing carbon dioxide and creating electricity and H2. At this time, the CO2 conversion efficiency is 50%; and so on until the CO2 is melted in water to induce an electrochemical reaction, since if the acidity increases, the number of protons increases, which in turn increases the power to attract electrons. If a battery system based on this phenomenon is created, electricity can be produced by removing CO2.

Next year it is intended to serve 100 people, that is, to have 100 prototypes ready, because as currently mentioned, this project is still in the "concept" phase.
The main barriers that we have are financial, since it is necessary to manipulate certain types of metals in order to produce the most suitable filter for this project, as well as the personal barrier that I present is that I am not an expert in the molecular subject, so the process It will take longer if I don't have help from experts on the subject, which is why I aspire to be selected in this competition to be able to work hand in hand with experts on the subject and thus reach the goal as soon as possible.

It is considered that the filter service will initially be provided as an innovation product where buyers will be able to form a percentage of their own electrical energy, hoping that over the years, the filter will be implemented inside cars as a necessary part. of it since it will reduce the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere and will generate electricity.
I believe that the way in which this project can be financed is in the search for investors who trust in how successful the filter will be, since it will bring great benefits to world industries (automotive, electric power).
