An app/website based solution for medical access. Where users get to access information about nearby medical facilities to appoint visits, run medical tests or buy medicines and many more.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

I am trying to solve this 3 point that creates a great negative impact in the society.

Wrong Decision Making

Starting from Disinformation, for a country like Bangladesh and other countries, have a lot of scam doctors, physicians, clinics and inexperienced institutes in this medical system. Their play in society creates more conflict and raises more problems towards the people who go to them to seek medication. Such institutions make their patient undergo wrong treatments, tests, and doctors. This results in obscured tragedies. This app will provide information about experienced, verified and authorized medical facilities near the user. So those who use this app can be assured that the institution they are taking treatment from is safe.

Then comes Misinformation. People around the world suffer from misinformation about medical treatment/advice/information. During the pandemic, many lives were lost due to misinformation, as it is said by multiple media and World Health Organization (WHO), Sources of this particular information-

In Bangladesh, “Infodemic” is more Dangerous and Worrying than the Coronavirus Pandemic
Hospitals’ and Clinics’ misinformation about their available facilities and the availabilities of their doctors and equipment affects in many ways. For example, people in Bangladesh often struggle to find ICU & medical bedding facilities during emergencies and difficult times as the information was not provided to them in a correct source. People are forced to keep searching while the patient's situation worsens. Our app will improve the situation about misinformation in the medical environment and it will provide up to date and available medical facilities and medical-related information.

At last the "Wrong Decision Making" is a vital part in this system. Taking a wrong path to solution creates multiple worse problem and situation. For example a person instead of going to doctor or a physician, Goes to a pharmacy without even a "medical prescription". And here in a country like this, you don't need to be a pharmacist to own a pharmacy. So the worker's under the pharmacy hears the person's problem, and gives them a medication without even a foundation of medical knowledge. This medication given by the pharmacy with less info about the patient's situation could lead to disasters afterwards.
Then in our country we have people who are called Kobiraj (কবিরাজ), they mostly relay on Ayurvedic type treatments. For a world we live in now, most of this kobiraj practitioners are fraud, they won't even treat the patient, instead make money out them by scamming them out. These type of medical practitioners helped human welfare as much as they could a century ago. And now this places of medical practice is corrupted to core. But many people still seek treatment from them.
So I want people to go for a right path for their medical treatment with this app/website.

What is your solution?

This is an app/website based solution.

Where this app will provide information about nearby medical facilities of user's location. The information cover nearby approved hospitals, clinics, pharmacy, diagnostic center and many more. With this information the users can easily appoint a visit with doctors, purchase their medicine and find center were they can run their diagnosis/test to. This app also provide same facilities for veterinary section through filter search.

This solution have two types of apps. The one user will use to access with and the other app will be used by the medical facilities, so they can provide their information, showcase & interact with users.

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

This solution can serve to any general people in this world who want to access their nearby medical facilities. This is created to serve the solution of problem they stumble upon while affiliating themselves to the medical facilities for aid. This app makes easy for them to choose the correct and safe choice, it makes them aware what is available around them.

Awareness , people are not well aware and addressed about their medical facilities availability around them. When a person moves or visits a new place, they don't know the nearby medical facilities that well, when they are in need for it. So this app will be a assist for those situations. This will help them choose it quickly without worrying about checking, searching thousands of sites & getting recommendation from other people. Making things for the people in this society more easy to choose. This solution will recommend a doctor or physician depending on their criteria. It will provide best diagnosis and test centers for their need. The solution will also provide certified home nurse and nanny in their need. And many more related to the medical field.

This app's utmost goal is to provide the medical related information to the user, that will be helpful for them.

How are you and your team well-positioned to deliver this solution?

This is just on a conceptual stage. And I am only the one to lead and came out with this idea.
For educational background, I am currently doing A levels now from Edexcel background under British council and hoping to finish this year and get into a university.
I grew up as having a weak body, as I get sick easily often. I have gone through many doctors and physicians for my sickness. Seen many types of medical places. Was able to learn more about the situation of medical facilities in my country. Seen the problems general people suffered for. Personally suffered and fell in many situation, that could have been solved if the thing was addressed correctly.
I want to create a team in future, that can turn this concept into a working model. And serve this solution to the people in need.

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

To visualize this concept stage. I have talked about it with many people from doctor, physicians and general people. Taken their comment and point for it. And molded this concept designs.

This is a solo concept project so I am the only person that Lead this work.
