Blue Filter
Treating water from pollutants (Nitrates, salinity, and chloride) by decreasing the percent of ( Nitrate from 100% to 2 % and chloride from 100 % to 40 %) for farmers
So the problem is summarized as :
- Desertification of lands because of increasing salinity, nitrate, and chlorides and scarcity of water in aquifers
- Low productivity of plants
- High water cost for farmers
- A high percentage of nitrate in water wells, fruits, and vegetables because of misuse of chemical fertilizer
- High cost of feedstock
- High cost of fertilizers
7. lack of knowledge of farmers about nitrate, salinity, and other problem and how can they deal with and test it (low experience in new technologies)
Project Idea: In the absence of clean water for agricultural fields in the world, the Blue Filter is designed to filter the high amount of pollutants (nitrates, salinity, and chloride) from water. The water treatment reduces the percentage of nitrate from 100% to 2 %, and of chloride from 100 % to 40 %, for farmers engaging in environmentally friendly practices. The innovation is a (plastic or metal) mould filled with treated plant seeds and then placed in water basins for treatment. This project will help farmers to get clean water for irrigation through green technology applied directly at the farm, with no need for transportation. It is expected to improve farmers’ financial condition (and create job opportunities) by 70% and increase the productivity of agricultural crops by 80 %.
The Blue Filter project is supported by an application and a website (Digital System), the aim of which is to educate farmers and customers about everything related to water, the environment, and agriculture, in addition to following up on purification processes and addressing any problems during water purification processes and providing all the necessary information on the results Tests and the meanings of these data that are not known to everyone, especially the general public
The Blue Filter is an innovative filter for farmers that allows to significantly reduce excessive nitrates & pollutants in the water used for irrigation through the use of a mixture of plant seeds that are treated in environmentally friendly ways.
As the water treatment process takes place without the need for any chemical additives or electrical energy by placing filters in the water basins directly, we are contributing to a blue economy by reducing water pollution from agricultural runoff, and therefore sea pollution.
The nitrate removal rate is more than 98 percent

Team growth plans:
We as a team in the Blue Filter project are working collaboratively to develop the project to include many difficult pollutants in order to remove them, in addition to achieving the project's goal, which is to provide water suitable for irrigation in order to improve the health and nutritional situation, in addition to promoting the project through networking with international institutions And the opening of branches of the project in several regions.
We are also working on seeking to employ a number of experts and specialists in the project and work with related companies to provide job opportunities, develop the project and the work team through exchanging experiences and studying local and global problems in the water and agriculture sector and contributing to solving them in environmentally friendly ways And creative.
In addition, we plan to bring in many investments in the project by participating in investment campaigns to develop the project to include many areas
- One of the most important features of the project is that it does not need energy or chemicals in order to work on water purification, in addition to that the amount of water before and after treatment remains the same without any losses, and this matter is very important in the work of farmers and stations
- Confirmation and verification processes were carried out through research and studies that lasted for a whole year. Results and several certificates proving the effectiveness and efficiency of the project were obtained from local and international associations and laboratories .
- After that, several agricultural areas were visited, and a number of farmers were contracted to test the effectiveness of the project by identifying the problems they suffer from in the field.
- By collecting feedback and questionnaires from farmers, work has been done to take them into account and add them to the project development plan, and work is currently underway on development.
- The project has several consultants from local and international regions, and the consultations are implemented within the policy of development and improvement in order to serve the segments of society, including farmers and water treatment plants, in order to advance the economy.
- The project participated in several international and local events and had a strong impact in terms of the idea and creative solutions that contribute to solving water problems in various regions of the world.
- The project has received many focused courses on project development and how to develop the project to include many pollutants that need to be removed in environmentally friendly ways. Work is currently underway to develop new creative methods.
- Several countries were visited, including the Netherlands, Italy, and Turkey, and the possibility of developing the project was studied as to how to benefit from it in the treatment of wastes present in the water and difficult to treat by traditional methods.
- Through visits and training with various institutions in the fields of environment, water, and agriculture, these opportunities were exploited for marketing and expansion in many areas suffering from pollution crises in the water sector.
- The number of Customers now 500 and we are launch mobile apps for the project to gain 10000 customers
- The vision of the project is to deliver water to every home for the sake of health and food security for all, because good water means a safe and stable life
- Other: Addressing an unmet social, environmental, or economic need not covered in the four dimensions above.
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea.
- Making better use of existing filters through sharing and reusing them by integrating blue filter technologies with existing filters
- The new design of blue filter for flexible use and eliminating waste in water treatment will assist in emission reduction
- Reusing and recycling blue filter raw materials so that they do not end up in landfill or incinerators
- An innovative and passionate team are here to encourage and challenge when needed.
- Our large network of suppliers and manufacturers – many of which offer lower carbon solutions – means we are well placed to make direct introductions, making Climate Partner a practical partner in your decarburization journey.
- reducing energy consumption no energy needed for water treatment process
- Using recycled materials to make new products reduces the need for virgin materials. This avoids greenhouse gas emissions that would result from extracting or mining virgin materials
