An app that allows tourists to easily access information about attractions and activities in Egypt, to ensure that traveling is accessible and affordable for all visitors with a uniqe experience.

Tourism in Egypt is one of the most important sources of national income, with the annual dollar revenues it provides, and the foreign currency returns that enabled it to participate significantly in the gross domestic product, and to combat unemployment by employing a wide segment of the workforce in Egypt. The country offers a variety of attractions and activities for tourists to enjoy including desert safaris, Nile cruises, diving and snorkeling trips, cultural tours and more.  

    But we are facing a big problem in Egypt, which is lack of guidance for travelers or tourists as they suffer or do effort to know information about tourism sights, attractions, and activities , making it difficult to plan a trip. Additionally, transportation means are hard to be described as most of locals are not English-speaking and the public transportation options may be limited or confusing, making it difficult for travelers to get around. Another aspect is the lack of Promotion as many Egyptians are unaware of the amazing attractions that their own country offer, so they tend to travel outside and overlook domestic tourism opportunities when planning their holidays. Finally, it's hard for the backpackers & adventure travelers, who are interested in exploring the culture and the country and prefer staying in simple cheap accommodation like hostels and be on budget, to find such a service as most of tourism prices for accommodation and other services can be expensive in Egypt compared to other countries in the region, making it difficult for budget travelers to visit the country on a limited budget.

An app, KEMET which allows tourists to easily access information about attractions and activities available in Egypt based on reviews of the community as well as providing a full interacting community to share reviews and experience with others, posting about your visits to different places to give your tips, pros and cons of their own visit with the ability to book their, accommodation or transportation needs and also provide information about local customs and culture.

Our goal is to ensure that traveling is accessible and affordable for all visitors, regardless of income or social background. This means providing services that meet the needs of both local and international tourists

I've suffered before when i went to luxor as a local tourist, getting information about the transportation options, cheap accommodation and the information of the attraction sights there.

And as a computer science student, I have the technical skills and knowledge necessary to develop the app, such as programming languages, software development methodologies, and the ability to design and implement a user-friendly interface. Additionally, my passion for solving this problem and desire to make travel more accessible for people and your country will provide in the effort and dedication required to successfully deliver the solution.

However, I'm keeping in mind that building a successful app also require a lot of other aspects such as market research, user research, and testing, as well as the ability to work with a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders. It's also important to consider other factors such as scalability, security and maintainability of the app.

It's great to have a strong motivation to deliver this solution, but it's also important to have a realistic understanding of the challenges and resources that may be required to bring the app to market and to ensure its long-term success.

We have gathered information about the problem, we asked the tourists about the trip experience and what are the main problems that they faced during their trip through a real surveys from the tourists and people concerned about the traveling to Egypt.

Provide a unique community platform based on locals reviewers that helps tourists to find all information quickly and easily about their destination, activities, accommodation and more, through our seamless integrated services such as booking , payment options. Additionally, our platform is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for even first-time travelers to navigate their way around a new destination to explore it as local citizens.
