Labgo
Affordable education with Microcourses for the youth in LATAM.
Labgo solves the lack of education towards the skills of the future in the youth in Latin America
Young people in LatAm are 3 years behind other OECD countries. - OECD
85% of the jobs that will exist in 2030 have not been invented yet. -Randstad
65% of companies in LatAm state that they have difficulties filling vacancies. - Workforce
The youth currently being immersed in the world of the Internet, and comparing it with the way in which teachers give the class with a lecture style, causes them disinterest and boredom.
This combined with the fact that today, being bombarded with so much information and content, it is difficult for them to find passions and vision.
Labgo seeks to solve a huge problem in education which is linked to quality education and employability, preparing our Latino youth to face future challenges.
Also, the timing is right for Edtechs. The global Edtech market is expected to reach $404.7 billion in value by 2027, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 12.5% between 2020 and 2027, meaning a huge possibility that Labgo can become a strong player.
We are creating Microcourses that focus on developing the skills of the future in the youth, aiming to serve +108M youth in LATAM.
Microlearning is a new type of learning through micro-content enabling fast thinking, accessibility, and scalability, the topics we are looking to develop within the micro-courses are STEAM, mental health, management and innovation, topics related to the future of the workforce in LATAM, and next-gen of entrepreneurs.
Labgo not only provides knowledge of topics, is creating a community around helping out each other, we look forward to making Labgo as accessible as possible through our tech.
We have worked with companies such as CEMEX, Oracle, Softtek, Ashoka, Nestle, Caterpillar, United Way, and local governments. We have had users from México, Colombia, Peru, Argentina y Spain.
Labgo is made for youth in LATAM, we will prepare the next innovators, entrepreneurs, changemakers and leaders of tomorrow.
Labgo solves education as a way of giving practical knowledge, linked to employability for all young people in LATAM. Based on our educational methodology "a+e(i²)" which is explained as "a" of learning plus (+) "e" of education that is "i" innovative multiplied by "i" inclusive.
We will impact youth lives by increasing the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship alongside great designs that inspire, UX that recognizes the effort, and UI that motives.
The micro-courses are based on the 4.4 Sustainable Development Goal by the UN, looking forward to measuring every step of our input towards great results making a solution aligned to gamechanger solutions.
We are sure we can be the right team to change continuing education in LATAM with a great team.
In 2018 I, Carlos, CEO, was selected at the national level for the IV "Future of Work" summit of the Pacific Alliance, I discovered the power of the skills of the future. Since then I have been recognized by NASA, Meta, Pacific Alliance, IBD, and UNESCO.

Mariath, CIO has worked on various innovation and social impact projects at 18 years old, she creates our vision for what we do. Mariath has been recognized by Disney, Ashoka, TED-ed Clubs, FIRST Robotics, and INCmty.

Something to highlight has been the participation of Mariath in the most important entrepreneurship festival in LATAM, where she shared the stage with the President of Alibaba Cloud, Director of Endeavor Mexico and CEO of Betterfly.

Pablo our COO, has a long career in STEM programs, he is the person who brought to Mexico the FIRST Lego League a prestigious robotics league for children and teenagers. Pablo has worked with various corporations and governments throughout Mexico.
We got as our advisor team Francisco Palao and Carolina Arce.
Labgo started as an experiment of me (Carlos) bringing science activities to underserved people in Nuevo León within a CEMEX summer camp in 2019.
Since then, I fell in love with STEAM and education as a source of change, I started focusing on the main problems related to education and skills of the future, and my career started with my 3 top-tier high projects I created.
1. I created the first STEAM classroom made out of recycled materials, called Retrak, it was recognized by UNESCO and Solar Impulse Foundation (here I learned how to measure social and environmental impact), 2. I created the first research in Mexico using Generative Design and additive manufacturing for an aircraft (with this project I learned the power of ideas) and 3. I created an NFT collection for Memo Salinas an influencer in Mexico, it was sold out and ranked top 3 worldwide (here I learned how to use tech and community building).
Doing my research I discovered that there were no educational platforms for the youth in LATAM, I saw an opportunity to become one top player, and all of a sudden, COVID-19 came to a new challenge that indeed boost education and technology.
Labgo has partnered with organizations such as United Way and local governments such as Guadalupe and Santiago city to create strategies to improve education through special programs to understand our purpose better. In 2022 we got an impact of 300 users throughout Mexico that helped us to improve our solution, now our goal is LATAM.

We understood that users (teens) need a new platform to learn and to inspire because they got the power to really change the world, as Labgo we look forward to providing them with these skills.
- Improving learning opportunities and outcomes for learners across their lifetimes, from early childhood on (Learning)
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community
Labgo makes education more accessible and engaging for students of all backgrounds and abilities. This can lead to better student outcomes and a more scientifically literate population, which is essential for addressing the complex challenges of the 21st century. We are innovative because of 3 things:
Technology ???
We create practical technology that allows each person to have a great experience. Our goal is to be as accessible as possible. Our tech allows is to create a more engaging and hands-on way, and to gain a deeper understanding of the material.
Learning methodology ?
Our educational methodology seeks to prepare young people with relevant topics of high educational impact where their future skills can be developed.
We put real cases in our micro-courses so students can reflect and learn from real cases - this allows students to learn at their own pace and receive tailored instruction tailored to their needs, allowing them to achieve better learning outcomes.
In fact, a product-related innovative strategy is that we are using the Trademark (™) of Microcourses in LATAM because is something new, and creates more confidence for the clients/users.
Impact ?
As a result of uniting our technology with a learning model, we seek to generate genuine impact by inspiring, empowering, and helping students to seek competitive jobs as well as transform their lives for progress, we base our efforts on the SDG 4.4. in order to provide accurate impact measurements.
Through our programs and microcourses we are always looking for extraordinary users who can stand out, and we connect them with professional opportunities.
Our impact goals aim to make affordable educational technology and improve users' life with opportunities because we believe that technology+impact will create a sustainable future. Our following goals are the result of hard work and learning:
A. Create partnerships, B. Create awesome tech, and C. LATAM
A. We were recognized by Meta, in public policy issues focused on business creation using Meta tools, this was possible through the Meta Boost program, which allows an understanding of partnerships and the power of technology,

At the end of the year, we created an educational program with the United Way called "Inspire Change" focused on inspiring young women towards STEAM careers, a program that we developed hand by hand with a focus on gender equality and the use of technology Awesome video here.
This year we signed an agreement with Conalep high school the biggest technical school in México in Nuevo León.
B. In 2022 we set the goal of understanding the real problem and developing a solution based on innovation, thanks to which we were recognized by Road To Innovate by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation because of our technology, we keep improving and we are sure we can develop better affordable technology, in order to do so, we need to grow our tech team.

C. By 2023 we will impact more than 50,000 young people in LATAM. Where we prepare the new generations of change agents through innovative micro-courses by establishing strong strategies towards scaling up.
With the help of our advisors Caro Arce from Chile and Francisco Palao from Spain, we are understanding what needs to be done, as a plan to reach more people throughout LATAM.
Microcourses are a form of online education that typically focus on one specific topic or skill, and are designed to be completed in a short amount of time, usually a few hours or days. They are often self-paced and can be taken at any time, making them a flexible option for learners who have busy schedules or who want to learn specific skills quickly.
Our technology is based on software that allows us to create content on the go, they include a variety of multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, quizzes, and interactive activities, to enhance the learning experience. This technology enables the microcourses to be interactive, self-paced, and easily accessible to students.
Our next objective is to create adaptive learning technology, which tailors the course content and progression to the student's abilities and learning style. This allows the course to adjust to the student's needs, providing a personalized learning experience.
- Behavioral Technology
- Software and Mobile Applications
- Mexico
In 2022 we impacted 300 young people across various cities of Mexico such as Monterrey, Mexico City, and Queretaro through our business model and high-impact collaborations such as events that have allowed us to improve our technology and refine our purpose of "inspiring the future".
So far in 2023, we have +200 users on our platform belonging to 5 countries Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, and Spain. Making us realize that we can serve more people throughout the world, and from that, we establish great goals for a great year, 2023.
Our goal for 2023 is to positively impact over 50,000 youth (users) in Latin America, where we aim to develop the next generation of leaders through unique microcourses, and establish a B2B partnership.
We are confident that we can achieve it with the help of our partners, supporters, and the youth in Latin America who will be part of our unique microcourses and B2B partnership. We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of young people in Latin America and help them become the leaders of tomorrow.
We are facing 2 barriers, the financial and the technical.
1. We need funding to grow our building capacities, is a critical resource for creating and distributing microcourses. Without sufficient funding, it can be difficult to develop high-quality course materials, hire experienced instructors, and promote the courses to potential users.
Additional funding can be used to increase the number of microcourses available. This can be accomplished by creating new courses or expanding existing ones, which will provide students with a wider range of options and increase the chances that they will find a course that meets their specific learning needs. With more microcourses, will be able to reach a larger audience and provide educational opportunities to a greater number of students.
2. Grow the team, we will need the best talent to create a state-of-the-art platform, by increasing the number of technical members we will enable more possibilities for our learning methodology.
Increasing the size of the team can create more opportunities and reach more people by allowing for more specialized roles, enabling the organization to work on multiple projects at once, bringing in diverse perspectives, and expanding the reach through networking and marketing efforts.
Our constant work has taught us to continue working on our dream of becoming the platform for youth in LATAM, based on this we seek to learn from others, that is why we do not mean our collaborations as collaborations, we mean as friendships.
We have designed different strategies in different fields in order to understand how we can improve people's life.
Watson Institute:
Our collaboration with Watson will allow us to reach more people in LATAM, and to measure the impact generated based on ongoing strategies and SDGs related. We are aiming to create a true impact.
Corporate partners such as Oracle, Nestlé, AWS, and Western Union:
Alongside corporate partners, we will create programs and events for their internal communities and projects in ESG adding value to their organizations, we aim to create a long friendship in which we can support them business-wise and impact-wise.
Educational institutions such as Conalep:
We created alliances with the largest high school in the state of Nuevo León Conalep, where Labgo will serve as a bridge on employability and upskilling for students seeking to connect with potential employers, this will allow us to reach more users and create various commercial experiments.
FIRST Robotics Clubs such as Tigres 6652 and Voltec 6647;
We also invest in the youth, we are sponsors of Mexican robotics teams Tigres 6652 and Voltec 6647, they have a great history in robotics events, representing Mexico in international competitions, seeking a robot, from the most important league in the world called FIRST, to inspire the innovators of the next generation. Together we aim to impact 10k youth across Mexico & USA.
We made two main sources of revenue a B2C & working on a B2B business model.
We made a membership plan, in which we charge a certain amount of money depending on the time plan, be it monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual, seeking to create a recurring income that allows us to be scalable both in profits and generated impact which enables growth to other regions.
The value of this is that subscribers have the courses available during the time of their subscription in addition to the skills workshops.
We are exploring a B2B business model, an experiment that we lunch this year, 2023, in which we partner with schools to make Labgo available to their students, for a monthly subscription available to all their students within a partner school.
Our goal is to build a strong brand through various tactics and leveraging our partnerships to achieve a low-cost brand presence. This approach to financial sustainability enables us to test and evaluate outcomes.
The ultimate objective is to become the leading platform for future skills and youth education, which not only saves money but generates word-of-mouth and offline marketing.
Additionally, we plan to partner with schools and offer our Labgo technology as a benefit for their students.
We hope to raise capital to strengthen our team and improve our capacity, which will allow us to form more partnerships and stay competitive in the market.
