To do tech, to do law
A system of laws based in scientific knowledge created in order to mitigate and prevent contamination and greenhouse gases emissions.
The problem is the lack of coordination between the different environmental solutions available, held in different territories, that tackle different specific environmental problems.
The scale of the problem reaches the vast majority of people on earth. Some of them are more affected than other.
The main factors that contribute to the lack of coordination between the different environmental solutions available are political decisions.
The consequences of this problem are the consequences of climate change because of the sub-optimal solving system we currently carry on.
My solution is a system of laws and treaties based on science and mathematical models that allows an optimal linking between the already available solutions and provides an adequate legal and accountable environment for their growth.
Those laws are:
- Rewilding, protecting and restoring aereal, sea and land ecosystems, fauna and flora.
- Subsides/Economical boost to: renewable energies; industrial adoption of biodegradable, ecological, non-pollutant or reclycled raw materials; hidroponic farming; local food production; passivhouse standard adoption; fossil fuel engines adaptation; house modifications in order to increase temperature efficiency; city modifications in order to reduce the "concrete jungle" effect; CO2 sequester and cow-methane mitigation.
- Adoption of the recycling system.
- Adoption of refill systems.
- Adoption of Commercial cultives.
- Adoption of fish farms.
In the FAQS section, the word technology was broadly defined as the "application of science and evidence-based knowledge to the practical aims of human life.", therefore to apply science to the practical aims of human life is "to do technology". This project does technology through laws.
The FAQS also state that a good guide to know if this project is well oriented is to remove tech from it. If it falls apart, its good, and this laws withouth the science wouldnt work.
In order to create this laws is needed to apply technology and scientifical methods to fix the boundaries of said processes. The technology is used to produce a system that allows a natural entrance of other technological processes to the economical system. The solution itself is a system, not a particular item.
Of course, the legal processes are also used.
It serves every person on the planet, since we all are subordinated to the law.
It impacts primarily on the businesses, industries and service providers as it modifies the way they extract energy to do their manufacture or the materials they use, or the place its done.
It also has an impact in society as it means a change in the way we consume: little details like a carbon sequesteror in the exhaust pipe of fossil-fueled cars, or the use of refill systems in supermarkets or the adoption of recycle bins in the public space will be noticed, but since a lot of those changes are absorbed by the fabrication process, its mostly invisible to us as long as the final result is the same.
About the construction of houses, it will be noticed in the mid-term run, just like the appearance of electric transportation and heat mitigation structures inside of the cities.
As you can see, the short term benefits are related to factories: energy prices become lower, lowering the costs of producing.
For us the consumers, the benefits are invisible first: the use of non-plastic materials means less microplastic in our bodies. The adoption of technology in the food making processes implies better food quality, therefore better nutrition.
As it comes to the houses, the main benefit from the increased thermal insulation is better temperatures throughout the year, meaning less energy recquired, meaning lower bills and lower energetic stress in the grid.
As it comes to the cities, it means less mean temperatures thanks to a lowered concrete jungle effect. The adoption of non-fossil fuel transportation means better air quality, which reduces lung-related diseases. The fact of introducing a recycling system means the end of trash as we understand it, which is also related to health problems. Removing the cause erradicates the effect.
I describe myself as curious, adaptable and creative. A combination of those, alongside with my analitical thinking, results in the ability to solve almost every problem it comes to my way.
My skills are: learning with ease, connecting dots of different fields of knowledge, critical thinking and interpersonal communication.
A good thing to know is when to ask for help, since "it takes more than a seed to plant a garden" (credits to climate interactive).
My network has a wide range of skills. Most of them are inventors, engineers, scientifics, climate leaders, lawyers and politicians around the world. Better yet, some of them are internationally known thanks to their work.
They tailor this solution because they are experts in a part of the problem, each with great experience in their field and years of study. Most importantly, they have a deep sense of humanity, some of them getting close to those in need with regularity, or holding a charity service. That face to face contact assures you the greatest understanding of their lifes.
I have learned intensively for the last 3 years out of curiosity. I did it from reliable sources and people with solid knowledge. I nourished from their experience and I have come to a mind mapping of the overall problem. The thing is that its not a problem, rather a system of individual problems.
The best solution I have come across is to suffer a change of system, and instead of building a new one, I opt for transforming key parts that creates the best results. Of course, when you say "system", you say "law", and voila, thats how this project was born.
I do volunteer in Fridays for future and in several reforestation organizations. I am currently building a 80.000 trees garden center.
I did engage people to this solution, but not as users, rather as team partners. Although I did talk with potential users, I wouldnt say they are engaged, rather excited of this possible future.
- Taking action to combat climate change and its impacts (Sustainability)
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea.
I do expect big changes from this project. As you can see, it aims for a change of the most general market paradigms: energy sources, materials and engines.
It provides a new approach since it allows a general understanding of the climate change and it guides clearly towards the best action. This system of laws will make a domino effect upon all the contamination and GHG sources.
The keys to this project are:
- Scientific basis: it will be done what it must be done. Decisions has to be taken with a evidence-based reason, not just opinion. Those in charge must have an outstanding knowledge in their field and not be in charge because of a political decision.
- Attachable: It doesnt aim to destroy and redo from the beggining, rather to change certain core pieces that rules the outcome of the total operations.
- Cooperation: All the resources are already available to do a substantial advance in the global warming solving, its just needed to link them.
- To approve the "Adoptation of a recycling system in the city" law in 10 cities around the world. At least one of them must be in the top 20 of most pollutant cities.
- To approve the "Rewilding, protecting and restoring aereal, sea and land ecosystems, fauna and flora" law in Argentina.
- To approve the "Economical boost to hidroponic farming" law in Argentina.
