A Remote Controlled Mortuary Robot is a solution developed for hospitals and health persons to aid them perform their core tasks in the mortuary ensuring contactless dead-body management.
In 2020, a family member of mine succumbed to Tuberculosis contracted from the mortuary during execution of his tasks. And WHO estimates Three million percutaneous exposures occur yearly among 35 million health personels and over 90% happening in developing countries in Africa like Uganda. This is attributed to luck of personal protective equipments in the hospitals, working in hazardous affections emenironment and having body contact to infectious body fluids and chemicals used in the mortuary. These has highly posed to contraction of highly infectious diseases like Ebola, Tuberculosis, Cholera, Covid-19, HIv and many more.
We NuixHexa technologies are determined to provide a contactless mortuary management through the use of the remote controlled mortuary robot to perform the core tasks of a mortuary attendant in the hospital. This solution simply operates by control from the mortuary attendant to instruct the robot to perform his tasks without having body contact with the infectious dead bodies and the system is also able to perform some core tasks intelligently with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning Technologies.
The health person in age age of 20 to 55 years who have body contact with dead bodies in the mortuary have always suffered the infection risks and therefore this solution is here to relieve the health persons from all the these risks they stand to face while performing their tasks.

For the past 3 months i have done user interviews with a number of mortuary attendants and health professionals to be in position the understand the exact problem faced by users and validate the idea if it has a market.

Currently Mortuary management is done manually with aid of health persons ad this is not effective and efficient way to manage a mortuary since mortuaries are deadly places to work from. Our solution is developed in the core fourth industrial technologies which is the best fit to solve the customers problems.
By 2024 to have MVP ready for first time deployment and this will involve working vigorously with our technical team and simultaneously consulting our clients.
By 2025 we are aimed to have onboard 50 customers and above a round Africa and this will based on our business model.
The solution is developed on robotics technology to enhance the structure of the system and aid its movement, Artificial intelligence and machine learning are one of the core technologies the system is developed upon and this basically helps the system to intelligently perform its key tasks while in the mortuary by learning and exhibiting the key features of the mortuary attendant.
