joy4laborers is a mobile app that easily connects labor workers with employers at limited costs and short time. Also, we provide professional trainings and certify and supply safety clothes, etc.

In Ethiopia, the major problems with labor workers and employers are:

1. there is no working center which leads to problems;-

day laborers seeking a job in street faces healthy problems, traffic accident with high competition, hardship to secure a job, and a bad image in town.

2. domestic workers:-

• Most domestic workers are found with fears and costs in-house of local brokers till they get employed.

3. employers face challenges that:-

employer spent costs and time in search of labor workers.

3. UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS HIGH:-

  • Particularly among local youths very high but all people use mobile phones and other technologies in their homes and hands that I use to solve these problems in a digitalized way.

Our joy4laborers is a mobile app that easily connects labor workers with employers at limited costs and short. We provide professional training and certify labor workers in their expertise. We supply safety tools and clothes for them including insurance services from their commission fee. We work with stakeholders. 

We develop a mobile app jopy4labor and register labor workers with their full data including image, salary/wage, and work area and experiences then the employer gets the app from the play store and downloads it, and installs it on the phone then he or she login into account after creating an account then it will be notified to us to send lists of all labor worker then he orders from lists and enters an agreement in paying commission then we call or message to labor worker to reach in time to the workplace with contacting to us. this helps to secure jobs easily with increased accessibility in reducing challenges and risks for the clients.

we have four key teams who were well experienced and qualified and committed to performing all duties and tasks for the success of the business. they  including:- 

1. Mamush Yisihak

•  general manager 

Mamush holds a Bachelor's and master of Arts degree. He has previously worked as a manager in YADs floor factories. Also managers and senior experts in governmental sectors at the local level. did research on labor workers

2. Bethelem Demise

•  Sales and promotion manager 

Bethelm holds a diploma in marketing management. Well-experienced in social-media promotion. She attracted 5000 customers in certain months for us.

3. Hiwot Gafarso

 Finance & administration  manager

Hiwot holds a diploma in accounting and financing.  Has experience in managing and controlling the financial activities of NGOs. She has raised a fund of 100000 ETH birr during her work in NGOs.

4. yohannis  Benta

Mr. Yohannes holds a BSC in computer software engineering and has experience in app development etc.  

our success so far is we conducted a pilot study and empathy testing with business/technology. We increased and improve services by employing digital technology. We began to increase and develop our market by following different marketing strategies through it We reached 10000 customers with good feedback through e-commerce and others and generated revenue of $1000.  Also, we created job opportunities for 12 youths including girls and women and we planned to supply and train them in our service base.
