Coozin
Coozin is the first online platform in Uzbekistan that provides an opportunity to purchase delicious and high-quality home-cooked dishes at affordable prices.
Gender imbalances in education, employment and income: Women in the world earn less, are less educated and less equal.
One of the few solutions is to involve housewives in e-commerce at home. For example, housewives can prepare food and sell it with delivery.
But to start on their own, they need:
* take self-study online
* register your activity.
* establish acceptance of electronic payments
* launch an online “showcase”
* learn how to attract customers
* resolve the issue with the delivery of products
The first and biggest barriers: Barriers to the dream:
* fears, prejudices, risks
* sensitive, to the family budget, investments
* high startup time
* missed opportunities
Coozin - social economic food tech startup allows housewives to start a business, earn income from hobbies, and expand their knowledge.
Our solution for a chef is: ready-made tools (payments, logistics, showcase), income, and education, and also to be a member of the community of the same chefs.
We support women with:
* Ready-made tool
* Course, masterclasses
* Information
* Advertisement
* Training
Coozin gives a set of tools to the cook.
Payment system.
The chef does not need to think about how to get paid for the dish that was ordered from him. The platform has developed an automatic payment system. Upon completion of the order, the chef receives the amount with the platform commission already taken into account and can dispose of the funds freely.
Logistics. Delivery.
The chef does not need to think about how to deliver the dish that the client ordered from him. Inside the application for the cook, there is a function to call the courier for the order.
How does this happen? The chef receives the order from the platform, reads the description of the order details and starts the cooking process at the agreed time. In the process of cooking 30 minutes before readiness, the chef inside the application calls the courier. The courier receives an order from the chef and receives the address and phone number of both the chef and the client. Arrives within 30 minutes to the chef and picks up the order to deliver it to the client.
Online showcase - coozin.uz
The platform is a chef's showcase where she places her dishes, where there is a description of the price and a photo of the dish she cooks. Thus, the client understands what he is going to buy and for what amount.
Coozin.edu - online educational platform
For Coozin, we also developed a platform for Coozin.edu, which allows women to get basic skills for free in various areas - cooking, sms, computer, finance, etc. The purpose of the platform is to give knowledge to women and help them find their way. Now, this platform has also launched in Tajikistan.

In Uzbekistan, many women stay at home after marriage, and if they do not receive an education, they do not know what to do and cannot get a job. This creates many unemployed women who need financial support. Our solution creates an opportunity for women to get an education with Coozin, put that knowledge into practice, and sell their services through the cousin platform. Now, these are dishes that they can cook at home and sell, and now we are working to add women from other industries to our sections, such as nannies, lawyers, accountants, SMM specialists - in general, all services and products that women can provide from home. Thanks to Coozin, women can create the opportunity for themselves to become financially independent, do what they love, and develop while sitting at home. I have attached some results of our housewives and implemented programs.
Our team consists of 5 developers (front, back and mobile), a product designer, a graphic designer, a CPO and a product manager. Also, in the project, we involved a business analyst and a managing partner for consultations, from whom we take directions for the development of the project. Each member of the team is quite experienced and professional in their field. Also, for example, as mentioned, we attracted to the team as a consultant the former CEO of Broniboy (delivery service) who had experience in building a large company and service.
When we were just at the MVP stage, we interviewed women housewives to understand their specific needs, and based on this we made an application for vendors. When we already made an application and a website for the client, we conducted both quantitative and qualitative research and found out their needs. After the launch of the first version, we also gathered a focus group and tested the product.
- Improving financial and economic opportunities for all (Economic Prosperity)
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in at least one community, which is poised for further growth
Our market does not yet have a platform that can create opportunities for women that we create, we also educate and create earning opportunities for women through technology.
To achieve our goals, we are now launching a new release of products with a new business model and plan to expand our project.
1. Train >10,000 women through an online education platform.
2. Presence zone in all regional centres of the Republic of Uzbekistan - advisory centres.
3. Assign the status of self-employed - 1.000 through the Coozin platform
4. Provide the self-employed with demand by developing and popularizing the Coozin platform
5. Increase the number of local partners in Uzbekistan (banks, retailers).
Our solution is based on software i.e. mobile applications. If women used to record their orders on notepads to make financial reports as best they could and also call a courier via taxi, now they have all these tools in one chef application.
- Software and Mobile Applications
- Tajikistan
- Uzbekistan
In numbers, we gathered 80+ chefs in Tashkent and were able to train 1300+ women until this moment. For this year we are planning to train 10,000 women through an online education platform and assign the status of self-employed - 1.000 through the Coozin platform.
The only barrier now we have is financial barriers to implement all our programs and plans to involve more women.
We have partnered with OSCE, ITPark, Coca-Cola, and Business Women's Association in Uzbekistan to implement our social programs to educate women.
