Beaux Sensations

Use of resources considered as waste for the creation of underwear and other items for inclusive use. 

The problem to be solved in principle is the waste of garments that are discarded in the garbage and therefore become environmental impact, the fundamental idea is to make use of these resources taking into account the way in which these resources can be used and others that have a lower impact as far as environmental impact is concerned. 

My solution consists in the creation of a line of lingerie and underwear as well as everything that a business venture requires such as: bags with recycled fabrics, commercial stationery with recycled paper, among others. Its function is more than anything the use of these resources for something that is of daily use and would be a second chance of use in the case of some materials since, others would be new but using more sustainable raw materials. The processes for its creation would also be as sustainable and eco as possible, a project that could be implemented is the traditional sewing generating jobs and avoiding the use of some machines making it oriented to an artisan process. (The above may vary depending on the phase of the project).

My solution will serve all female persons who may purchase or otherwise receive any of the products I intend to offer. The ways in which it will impact their lives is essentially to provide them with a better experience when buying underwear so there will be no limit to the different valid and existing bodies, another form of impact is precisely to empower each person who uses the products in the aspect that every body is valid and beautiful (In addition to promoting the eradication of the standards related to pursue an unrealistic concept of perfect body).  Related to something mentioned above, another alternative impact would be that the possible generation of jobs would benefit many women whose trade is sewing or who are good at it. In other cases, the impact would be in the provision of basic commodities free of charge for people with limited resources. Finally, in general, it is intended to expand the target audience of the proposal depending on its scalability.

To be honest, at this stage of the project (Planning), I think that although the time is near to start the proposal in a more serious way, the fundamental thing at this moment is to establish good foundations so, now I do not have much experience related to the productive phase of the project but, I intend to train myself as soon as I establish some solid principles. I should add that due to my age I do not have resources such as volunteer or work experience and I have decided that for the moment I must rely on my own resources for the stage.

To begin with, I consider that I am part of the target population of the project. 

My measures are mainly small questions to the target population, in which I have received valuable information about the expectations that are not fulfilled by the currently available offer. Some people have given me some ideas for the moment of implementing this proposal, so they would already be indirectly involved in the design of the solution. 

My solution provides a new approach to the problem because it seeks the implementation of two main resources: use or reuse of resources and resources with environmental impacts that are significantly lower than common resources. To add to the above, it seeks to implement forms of work could be said artisanal also being an approach related to employment generation and last but not least services in relation to awareness campaigns in relation to the experience of a free and safe sexuality I consider would be a small contribution in terms of preventive knowledge in sexual health and, on the other hand campaigns aimed at breaking stereotypes and standards of beauty would be helpful in terms of reducing discrimination by idealized concepts that can lead to mental and eating disorders being a small preventive support. I consider that achieving the joint implementation of the above resources makes my solution innovative.

Currently I have not launched the project, so estimates may be unrealistic. By next year ( 2024 ) I expect my solution to affect at least 300 people in my country, but I am optimistic that it could be more. 

The existing barriers in the financial area are too relevant since I still do not have the resources to start the project because I do not have my own source of income, so I do not know if I will be able to achieve the aforementioned estimate. In the technical area, I can say that since I do not have measurable results, I could have problems in the manufacturing of the products. In the cultural field, I think that since it is a new product, the different cultures of my country could put resistance to change what they already know in that market.

The value that this project would provide to the target population is primarily to provide underwear and lingerie that is comfortable to wear for each person who wears it ( product ), the services would consist of educational programs in relation to the project's mission ( The project's mission would be geared towards breaking traditional standards of beauty, empowering women and generating awareness around free and safe sexuality, among others ). The way to provide these products and services would be varied because, although it is necessary to sell the products to sustain the project, there is also the scenario of people who cannot afford to access these resources and therefore could benefit from the part of the project that I intend to be free vulnerable target populations. My target audience wants products like this because frequent use of uncomfortable garments can become frustrating, uncomfortable and with permanent consequences in terms of physical appearance and health, and the reason they might need these resources is due to the last reason mentioned above: health in terms of posture that women must wear uncomfortable underwear, it brings them discomfort especially in the spine.

To finance my work, I think of implementing the sale of products as the main income to sustain the project, in the long term, I would think of gradually implementing the other forms of income. The business model would be similar to the external business model.
