NFTs for students
Using NFTs in schools to encourage students and simultaneously raise awareness of these high-potential technologies.
In such a wide and demanding world, where a high school diploma is no longer enough, it is difficult for students to find the motivation to continue their education, so this solution helps students to learn new technologies and simultaneously motivates them to continue studying.
This project, focused on high school juniors, begins as a course in which guidance will be given in the creation of a virtual wallet, investment analysis and student counseling. At the end of this three (3) month course, each student will receive one (1) NFT from each of their schoolmates and three (3) NFTs of their own. This will act in a way as a yearbook and each student will be able to decide if they want to put any phrases or personalize the NFT that they and their classmates will receive.
This will help students to keep invested in their schoolmates' professional accomplishments in their research and help them in the same so that their NFts are valued, as well as a self-motivation for their own NFts to acquire value.
This solution is primarily designed for students in Bolivia but can also be applied to other parts of the world. In Bolivia many of the schools are public schools where students rarely receive a current perspective of the world, especially in areas such as technology, digital tools and economics. With this course we hope to motivate students to continue researching and be aware of new technologies and opportunities in the future. Additionally, we hope to motivate not only the students, but also their parents - who in many cases prefer their children to work - to support their children to study and finish school.
At my short 18 years of age, the main activity I have done has been to be a student. In that sense we have checked with my classmates and we all felt that what we were being taught were not skills that were so necessary for today's world. And despite being in a good school, for example, we never received any kind of economic or financial orientation. That is why now that our school years are over, we feel the obligation to contribute to the new generations with a more current, economic, technological and motivational vision.
As a former student I know first hand from the problems and difficulties my classmates and I had. In addition to that, I asked students from other years how they felt and practically all of us came to the same conclusion. This being that the school felt outdated and in many cases antiquated.
- Improving learning opportunities and outcomes for learners across their lifetimes, from early childhood on (Learning)
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea.
It is innovative because it allows a way to bring students together and better prepare them for their professional lives by using relatively new technologies and learning about finance. In Bolivia these topics are not usual.
I hope to leave this idea planted as a seed and that it can open the minds of the future.
For this project we will use the necessary technology for NFTs, which, although it already exists, is not widely used in Bolivia.

This project is based on a non-profit economic model. In this way, the main objective will remain the formation of students in Bolivia.
This project will be financed through donations and agreements with different organizations. All proceeds will be used to teach the classes, train instructors and give discounts to interested schools, but they will still be charged a commission for the courses in order to achieve future sustainability. In exceptional cases, scholarships will be granted with the commitment that the students themselves will participate as assistants in future trainings once they finish their courses.
