DIOGENES
This project is a methodology on a new academy strategy for a children with ADHD and in general, to improve the teaching of new generations in Mexican public schools.
The big problem of the public academic system in Mexico is that children with ADHD do not pay the attention that should be due to the poor preparation of teachers and psychology cost. This causes the academic performance of these children to be unsatisfactory and their future is uncertain due to lack of attention to that problem.
The solution is simpler that it seems. The first step can be implemented from the first day of school: Ask each child a simple question, what is their interest at that moment? Since each will have a different answer and will be heard, they will be more interested in resolving their doubts. The second step is to united their interests and doubs, with the basic subjects, in this way they will develop much easier in their academic enviroment and their daily life.
5% of children and adolescents in Mexico have ADHD of which Less than 1% have the resources to be cared for, in this way everyone will have equal care and will be able to improve in all academic and social aspects.
I, the captain of the team, am diagnosed with ADHD, that’s why it’s hard to be at school that is not prepared to teach someone with ADHD. That’s why i want to give children that opportunity to have a suitable education free of charge. The other participant is in constant contact with people with other types of disorders since she is doing her intership in a psychiatric center and is informed about the project we are working on.
The captain of the team has a diploma in sociology, and was researching with several psychologist, students and teachers aroud the country, since it depends on the region and social class of the country, children behave somewhat differently. He also taught children from rural communities as a SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers). He also does amateur research in the behavior of people in different social classes and religions. On part of the second participant: She is nurse, she knows how to treat people of all ages, has given educational talks on different health topics and is currently giving her intership in a psychiatric center where she learns day by day about psychiatric disorders and mental health in general.

More than innovative, it is effective, but I haven’t seen programs at the public level for children with ADHD, it’s innovative because of how cheap it can be to train teachers. This can attract many people due to the fact that other children with depression or early anxiety can be helped and the change will be for those that children in the future will be better adults and we can prosper as a society little by little and have cultural changes and above all that mental health is taken care of much more in the near future.
My objectives are: to continue helping in the way I'm doing it, doing research with children with ADHD, and I can experiment with myself, because I'm diagnosed. It's easier for me to come to conclusions and to be able to help infants in my environment to have a better academic and social development, since this year I hope to be able to approach infants with ADHD early and to be able to help them in a very subtle way as if it were a talk of friends, together with their parents to be able to create a greater bond and that you have confidence with their parents and avoid depression or anxiety in the future.
My project is based on the behavior of infants and adolescents, and in a general way, reaching them and giving them that plus they need, making any human being feel special is in a way "manipulating" and that they pay more attention when explaining something to them in class. So based on that premise, someone with ADHD is easier to attract their attention with questions to their interests and be able to catch their attention and make the learning much easier.

Until now, my methodology has reached an external person and me, that gives a total of 2 people, for next year I hope to be able to attend 40 people to test my solution in a common classroom in Mexico.
The barriers that exist in Mexico, perhaps it’s the corruption of the SEP (secretariat of public education) that doesn’t allow innovative methods to be used in their classrooms, however, asking for permission in a school is possible thanks to the fact that my team has contacts to be able to access it. Beyond that, there is no other barrier. But speaking on a large scale, we need trained people with a vocation to want to help children and adolescents and be able to correctly deliver the message we want to give.

My business model is based on courses to train teachers of public schools and also draw books to carry a guide and thus generate income. These services will be provided digitally and at an affordable price. This is necessary to improve the development of infants and in a way that education is more economical.
I will take the capital out of my job, I’m an oil engineer and part of my salary is destined to create the material to sell, after the first sales I hope that the business is sustainable.
