We offer an app that helps people from Central Asia to migrate to Canada. We offer language courses, diploma evaluation, and 1-1 consultations with experts.

What specific problem are you trying to solve?

Hundreds of Kyrgyz families each year attempt to cross the borders of US unlawfully, facing different dangers and difficulties. They spend months, if not years of their lives, in order to be smuggled to their point of destination. They pay thousands of dollars to human traffickers for illegal residence. During that route they are at risk of being enslaved, corporally punished, and sold into prostitution.

With a population of 7 million people, 3 million Kyrgyzstanis are affected by migration. Their age varies between 22-45. Migrants work for unqualified jobs in countries like Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, US. This factor does not decrease the poverty rates and is merely a solution to stay afloat.Being a country with a high literacy rate of 99 %, the majority of migrants have bachelor's degree diplomas and a few years of work experience. With that in mind, we propose a safe and legal way to immigration. Our app is designed to offer specialized language courses to hone their skills and provide automized consultation and 1-1 consultation with experts to guide them through the immigration process.

What is your solution?

We offer an app that confirms to the demands of Canadian Immigration System.

In the app, there are language courses, that help migrants to hone their skills, automized profile assessment, 1-1 consultations with experts.

The language courses are based on the author's methodology. They prepare migrants for the tests they need to take.

Profile assessment tool is parsed from the net.

Consultants will be employed on the basis of agent agreement.

For technology, we use IoS and Android app development.

Who does your solution serve? In what ways will the solution impact their lives?

The target population is males and females, graduates of universities with several years of work experience, that plan to immigrate.

They are at risk of being misinformed and taking a dangerous journey in their immigration process, that is not legal if the country of destination is North America and/or Europe. In other countries, they do not receive adequate pay, because the job does not match their qualifications. An example of that is Kyrgyzstani Physics professor who works at Yandex as a deliverer in Russia. Unlike in Canada, a country of immigrants,It is almost impossible to obtain a white-collar job in countries like Russia and Turkey, due to the glass door based on nationality.

How are you and your team well-positioned to deliver this solution?

I have 4 years of experience in Human Resources Management, with a previous education in the Business Administration field. I am fascinated by social-oriented business ideas and a big fan of HBR Review. Currently, I am doing my studies in programming in Ecole 19, Belgium.

My teammate Andrey Kim is a winner of ICPC Olympiad (in the field of sportive programming) and specializes in app development. He works in one the biggest banks of Kazakhstan as IT specialist.

What steps have you taken to understand the needs of the population you want to serve?

I have launched a business on Instagram that proposed Central Asian men of age 18-50 an employment contract in the UK.

The demand was striking. However, our partner charged an astronomical sum for the commission of 5000 USD which our market was unable to meet financially. The whole procedure would cost 12-16K USD, and that was a no go for them.

I realized that they want a cheap and fast solution, that our app can provide.
