A&A WASTE MANAGEMENT

We are solving the problem of waste management by also creating an alternative power supply for the country and also more employment opportunities.  

According to the survey conducted by NCBI(National Center for Biotechnology Information) on waste management,

The Respondents' knowledge concerning waste disposal was assessed and the results showed that the majority of the respondents 193 (63.7%) had a high level of knowledge of waste disposal, while 170 (42.5%) had an average level of knowledge of waste disposal. Wastes produced by households in the study include vegetables (95.5%), ash (94%), clothing/rag (94.2%), sewage (95.5%) wood (95%), and animal waste (86.2%) the highest abundance. 

Diseases associated with these wastes produced by households include cholera (18.2%), malaria (47.2%), Lassa fever (10.7%), and diarrhea (23.9%) with malaria being the most prevalent infection.

Conclusion

The result shows that waste posed a serious health hazard and leads to the spread of infectious diseases. These issues can be addressed through health education and enlightenment of the people on waste disposal.

So the solution is that we want to create a sewage treatment farm whereby we get waste from the citizens and treat it to make use of it to create an alternative power supply in the country and also create a website whereby those who want to evacuate their waste can easily access the cheapest waste evacuation companies around them. 

So basically we would be rendering the following services to clarify the problem listed above,

• Generating biogas from our digester farm.
• Evacuation and desludging of septic tanks.
• Installation and maintenance of durable bio-digester to interested people.
• Creating employment opportunities and training labor.
• Creating a network between people who want to evacuate their waste and waste evacuation companies.

First, it will help them reduce the risk of sickness caused by these wastes, and also it will create an alternative power supply for the country instead of always depending on PHCN (Known as NEPA) and also create employment opportunities for the youth.

Engineering personnel with 5 years of experience in utility maintenance and currently working as a technologist at Pan - Atlantic university with a BSc in physics in view.

And also Mr. Augustine Achike 

A 300-level student of  Accounting at Pan Atlantic University. 

A young Entrepreneur with two years of experience in Accounting and Auditing.  

The team leverages its capacity to energize other people to get tasks done despite not directly being part of the business. 

We have conducted a survey and have also tested our product using waste from animal dung which was able to give us 3 hours of cooking gas which can also be used as power for that same duration. 

What makes us innovative is that other companies into it just treat the sewage and then dispose it which still causes diseases to the environment but we at A & A WASTE MANAGEMENT we want to reduce those diseases caused by sewage so we are going to be making use of it to generate gas and alternative power supply for the country. 

Our impact goal for the next year is to reduce the rate of diseases or sickness caused by sewage and waste by 80% and also create and increase employment opportunities for the youth to 90%.

The technology is the digester plant where all waste will be poured and then left for some time then the trapper will be on top of it to trap the gas and then transfer it to where it would be stored whether in a cylinder or a gas plant which can now be used. 

Our solution is to serve 80% of 600,000 gas users in Nigeria which includes government(state, local, and federal), House owners, schools, industries, eateries, churches, mosques, etc. basically everyone in Nigeria. 

The only obstacle is necessary funding to start up the business both for the registration and the day-to-day running.
