Natural Fertilizers from Kitchen Scraps in Laos
- Pre-Seed
The birth to abundant food sources and clean water comes from chemical-free soil. Natural fertilizers from kitchen scraps help clean out soil through natural healing processes. Let mother nature heal, and in turn our food sources and clean water will naturally be available.
Natural fertilizers from kitchen scraps will first be used for agricultural produce that will provide chemical-free fertlizers to soil.
The process will involve collecting food scraps such as fruit skins, vegetable roots and near-rotten vegetables and fruits that are not good for further consumption from a kitchen and other places.
Each family in the program will receive training on how to make natural fertilizers which can be used for their small backyard's gardens at home.
The natural fertilizers will improve the soil conditions and maintain good soil nutrients for any agricultural produce.
Families in the program can also sell their natural fertilizers and fresh produce once available to local farmers and vendors at affordable prices.
Local farmers and vendors can also sell their kitchen scraps in exchange for natural fertilizers.
Unsafe use of chemical fertilizers damages the soil nutrients and natural processes which can result in unsafe food sources and clean water for people around the world. Some families trash their food scraps which can be recyclable. A large amount of food waste is causing a sheer volume of trash which requires a substantial trash processing treatment including landfill.
The solution is a demonstration project for local households in Laos to return to a traditional practice of making natural fertilizers.
Natural fertilizers are combined with today's modern technology to ensure that people are caring more about recycling some food scraps that can be used for natural fertilizers.
To produce natural fertilizers is to build a chance to improve the soil conditions which can in turn increase soil nutrients.
Once the soil is planted with chemical-free fertilizers, it increases a volume of food sources and clean water that will naturally be available.
Participants in the training understand how to make natural fertilizers from kitchen scraps.
Households will learn how to separate food waste from other trash.
Natural fertilizers will be able to clean the soil and improve the soil conditions.
Both developing and industrialized nations can share their knowledge with each other in order to promote international linkages on natural fertilizers.
The number of participants completes the training. - More than 999 households in Laos Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam will learn how to make natural fertilizers from kitchen scraps at different locations.
The number of shares, posts and visits to online videos and social media pages. - More than 19,999 people in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, USA and Canada will access methods of making natural fertilizers in Laos and in other continents via international events and social media.
The number of participants completes the training. - More than 399 people in Laos will receive training on how to produce natural fertilizers at home.

The project combines today's modern technology with a traditional method of natural fertilizer made of kitchen scraps in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way. Raw materials are found in recyclable food scraps. This process reduces the amount of food waste that goes to landfill. The program does not require high-end software or control systems to monitor its progress.
Everyone can participate in natural fertilizer making and learn how to improve their soil conditions through hands-on practice from peers.
The project is also thinking through the best possible way to improve a person's ability by sharing information on all social media platforms about how to make natural fertilizers from biodegradable food waste.
All in all, people can try to use their natural fertilizers by testing on their small backyard's gardens, in their fruit and vegetable pots and on their large lands.
People can follow on all social media pages such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. They can also email the company anytime or use chat forums for contact.
