UNITY FOR GOOD LIVING INITIATIVE
I am solving a problem is not easily noticed and few people are
affected but they can be easily noticed as member of smaller caring
groups.
My solution is using a social means to address challenges that are
ignored in the society but are suffered by few people in various
communities.
They are people experiencing health challenges that are not common in
the society; it is regarded as a non-pandemic disease nationally.
My idea is in a book written by me and can easily be distributed
worldwide to make social groups possibly in all communities and by
active voluntary actions.
- Optimize holistic care for people with rare diseases—including physical, mental, social, and legal support
- Support daily care management for patients and/or their caregivers
- Mitigate barriers to accessing medical care after diagnosis which disproportionately affect disinvested communities and historically underrepresented identity groups
- Enhance coordination of care and strengthen data sharing between health care professionals, specialty services, and patients
- Empower patients with quality information about their conditions to fight stigma associated with rare diseases
- Promote community and connection among rare disease patients and their advocates
- Pilot
This challenge will provide me with the finance to easily distribute my
initiative world wide, make more volunteers to make and coordinate
caring groups.
My solution is innovative as is provides holistic and continuous support to patients of rare diseases through the combine efforts of each social groups called unity for good living initiative group.
1. In the next one year, unity for good living groups should have been established in every State of Nigeria, coordinated by various volunteers to support and care for people living with a rare disease.
2. I the next five years, unity for good living groups should have been established in many African countries and other continents, coordinated by various volunteers to support and care for people living with a rare disease.
I will achieve this goal by making organizations, especially religious organization to volunteer and coordinate our programs in various communities.
My progress is measured by the amount of organizations involved in coordinating my programs, the number of beneficiaries and the living standard of people living with rare diseases.
"The small good that many of us do make the big good that heal the world". I will involve many into the good that provide support and care for people living with rare diseases.
To spread the message of my initiative faster and for easier effective communication, I have to involve software developers to augment the activities of unity for good living initiative groups.
