The rare disease, nystagmus, is involuntary eye fluctuations which in result leads to lack of focus. Person sees objects with blurred boundaries, feels headache, and all this becomes more significant in moment of stress. Just imagine the person with nystagmus crossing the road with an active motion. Just this one task already causes additional stress and increasing of defect.
Treatment of nystagmus same time is still in 95% of cases performed only by surgery, but according to statistics nystagmus can return within a year even after successful surgery and lead to the strabismus' side appearance as the result of it, while lack of treatment leads to loss of visual acuity up to blindness.
Same time the effectiveness of the surgery is provided directly by the accuracy of diagnostics but well-known methods of preoperative registration of involuntary eye movements based on using methods of electro-oculography or photoelectric nystagmography don't give objective quantitative characteristics of such movements.

The technology was scientifically validated on the basis of leading clinics including Fedorov network medical clinic ISTC «Eye microsurgery» with more than 470 successfully treated patients with nystagmus as a result.
Our technology already helped more than 470 patients with nystagmus successfully cured by means of it on the base of leading clinics. Our goal is 500 clinics within the next 5 years that will help from 100 patients yearly each to heal from nystagmus with no surgery at all.
After working in ophthalmology and healthcare for a combined 70 years, developing some of the top distributed in CIS countries diagnostic solutions for vision, our founding team realized that there was a large gap in what was currently available for eye pathologies diagnostics and noninvasive treatment, and what was possible.

VideoOculoraph team is comprised of MDs: surgeons-ophthalmologists and biophysicists, data scientists, mathematicians and coders, mechanical and electrical engineers: 8 full-time and 3 part-time team members. Our with my co-Founder mom is well-known children worldwide surgeon-ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of surgical practice and successful inventions in the healthcare industry. She is one of our key developers and the Medical Officer of our venture as well.

In addition to surgical correction for noninvasive treatment of nystagmus Monobinoscope MBS-02 FORBIS (http://www.med-snab.ru/shop/part13/oftalmomiotrenazhery/monobinoskop-mbs-02/) is known. Its cost is $4150, weight is about 20 kg. However, it does not allow us to conduct online high accurate computer video diagnostics of eye pathologies during the procedures for accurate treatment effectiveness tracking and doesn't assume keeping of video base of diagnostics data of patients and machine learning approaches using.
There are analog diagnostics systems from companies of international William Demant Holding. The nearest portable solution from one of them, Interacoustics VNG VO425 (http://www.interacoustics.com/vng), for 7780$ doesn't allow us to conduct the noninvasive correction of eye pathologies but is intended only for nystagmus' diagnostics.
Thus our value proposal for the target audience is 1st portable intelligent solution that allows doing both: high reliable health diagnostics by eye moves and pupils' reaction and noninvasive vision correction in case if needed as well with an opportunity of online accurate treatment effectiveness tracking right during the treatment procedures.
It's a revolutionary technology that forever will change the way we used to conduct vision diagnostics and treatment.
Our goal is at least 70 clinics next year with at least 100 successfully treated patients by means of our technology yearly on the basis of each of them with no surgical risks or any rehabilitation period, and 500 clinics in 5 years.
The product was launched for CIS coutries, and now we're raising $350K for 14% equity to be spent on further R&D: improvement of features of new portable gear, CE/FDA certification for a worldwide launch starting from China and Korea, BRICS and MENA countries, PCT localization in each country of our interest, serial industrial production, further product launch, and its promotion to foreign markets.
