Our main purpose is to help reduce the high number of patients with childhood morbid obesity.

In Mexico, this is a problem that is increasing, and in our city, La Paz, capital of the State of Baja California Sur, the highest rate in the country is presented.

Our solution includes not only allopathic medical care, but we also incorporate the benefits of psychological monitoring, coaching, alternative therapies, exercise routines, balanced eating plans and the consumption of natural, organic products. To all this, high doses of joy and contention are added.

We contemplate working with our little patients and their families, to help them improve their quality of life.

We focus on the child population of La Paz, Baja California Sur, who suffers from childhood morbid obesity.

Statistics from the Ministry of Health of Mexico, position this city as the one with the highest rate at the national level.

A problem that is not being solved only with medical attention and media campaigns. We have been offering a broad-spectrum program, where different disciplines participate, which complement each other, seeking a medium-term result, with long-term duration.

Our team is made up of professionals in each discipline, who have years of experience in their specific field and in the collaboration of similar work projects.

We are people in constant evolution, who are permanently training ourselves in the new technologies of our subjects.

Convinced that we must return to ancient medicinal techniques, we combine therapy with allopathic medicine and organic food supplements.

We understand that this challenge can provide us with resources that will allow us to exponentiate the scope of our project.

Our society suffers from this terrible disease, faces the stigma and rejection of people and has to deal with obsolete methods that do not provide tangible solutions. To this is added the high costs of medicines and treatments.

We are offering a modern alternative, which is based on allopathic medicine, but which rescues the best of ancestral medicine, with the incorporation of food supplements.

This Challenge is for us, the opportunity to go further, in less time, favoring a larger population, with much lower costs.

With our interdiscipliary team made up of doctors, psichologists, coaches, bym instructors; we offer a complete treatment, where we monitor the progress of the patient, practcally day by day. Added to this is the use of alternative products such as different oils obtained from the cold pressing of Black Cumin and Moringa seeds. All this as a complement to the regular treatments of each patient. We not only care for children with childhood morbid obesity, but we also take care of their environment.

We plan to directly impact 150 children in our first year. Which make an indirect impact on 600 people, from the patient environment. In the next 5 years with the incorporation of more health professionals and therapists, we have set ourselves the goal of impcting 750 patients and their corresponding environment.

Our proposal is part of the objective set by the UN of "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages".

The National Institute of Public Health (INSP) has participated in the development of evidence-based public policies to address this health problem, which have proven to be effective; such is the case of the tax on sugary drinks(4), which has promoted an increase in the consumption of healthy drinks such as water.

Another notable achievement is the approval of the modification in the labeling of industrialized foods and beverages, in October 2019. The frontal warning labeling will allow identifying those products that exceed the limits established for calories, sugars, saturated fats and sodium, whose excess in the diet can be harmful to health(5). In this way, it will be easier for consumers to understand the content of the products we buy, facilitating decision-making for healthy eating.

Other strategies implemented in the country include the regulation of the sale of food in the school environment, educational campaigns, the regulation of advertising of foods and beverages with a high caloric content aimed at children, as well as the promotion of breastfeeding (6). Also, the promotion of physical activity through promotional campaigns, the adaptation of public spaces to exercise, bike lanes, and "open street" programs in which automobile traffic is temporarily suspended allowing pedestrian access, runners, and cyclists, among others.

At Médica Integral we adhere to these measures and implement a procedure in which we educate the child and their environment, in the best eating and exercise practices, to improve living conditions, based on health care. We believe that education in this area, follow-up with coaches and psychologists, medical indications and alternative products, make up an excellent pro-health team

Our postulate is the following: a medical follow-up of a particular patient is not enough, if the environment is not attended to. Changing eating habits is not enough if we do not attack the causes that lead people to eat unhealthily.

The therapists, made up of coaches and psychologists, work with the patient and their environment. Identifying the beliefs and affirmations of life that they support, supporting them to modify them, in an attempt to give the treatment a strong support that allows the results to be sustained over time.

 To this we add physical activity, led by experts who lead people, through fun exercise routines, to create new healthy habits.

Medicine, therapy, training and alternative products help to obtain excellent results in terms of health.

The technology to be implemented seeks to reduce the costs of oils by up to 80%, thus benefiting the economy of families.

In a first stage we intend to obtain moringa seed oil, by cold pressing, with our own means. In this stage, the seeds will be acquired from national producers. 

At the same time we will begin planting our own trees in the State of Baja California Sur. This will allow us, within a maximum period of one year, to produce our own seeds organically, as a second stage of the project. And almost immediately, we will start producing Moringa leaf powder, which will be added to our patients' treatments.

In our experience, the problem of morbid obesity is basically due to a feeling of rejection by society towards people who choose to live their lives in a "different" way than conventional.

We know that obesity is associated with an increase in negative affects, which is reflected in emotions such as anguish, anger, disgust, fear and shame, this association is attenuated by physical illness.

Our goal is to provide a medical and affective solution that gives people back the dignity of a healthy life.

For us, inclusion begins with the person himself, when he accepts himself, respects himself and decides to live fully.

We believe that as a society we must guarantee the right to live fully, based on respect for the individual's individual right.

From our enterprise we want to provide healthy solutions, friendly to the economy of each individual and that restore the desire to experience a harmonious and satisfying life

Our business model incorporates conventional medical and therapeutic care. To which is added the inclusion of alternative natural and organic products. And we support all this, with the participation of trainers in physical conditioning routines and correct nutrition.

We intend to produce our own natural products, with the intention of lowering costs for the population, generating new sources of work and guaranteeing quality of service.

Our comprehensive project is made up of care in our medical clinic, the planting, harvesting and production of our own products and our own distribution channels. We intend, within a period of no more than 5 years, to bring this comprehensive solution to North America and Latin America, where the problem of morbid obesity is on the rise.

Throughout these years we have realized that progress is satisfactory but too slow.

We intend to receive an economic boost through donations that allow us to strengthen and accelerate our processes and thus be able to reach a greater number of patients in a more incisive way.

By producing our own products, we will be able to substantially lower our costs, offer products for sale at more reasonable prices and expand our solution to more places, both within our country and to neighboring countries

So far we have not received any type of subsidy, donations or resources that allow us to expand our work capacity.
