EDUCATING COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND STUDENTS ON AWARENESS OF COVID 19 AND AIDS THROUGH DOOR TO DOOR SENSITISATION AND FILM ACTING:

Major causes of Problems affecting our community and students as a result of COVID 19 and AIDS. 

• High level of poverty has led community members and students not managing to buy masks and students curry out prostitution.
• Poor health facilities, luck of covid test gadgets to. Poor upbringing and immorality in the community. Has increased the spread of COVID and AIDS. 
• Few health workers in hospitals and Teachers falling in love with students has led to increase of AIDS in community and students.  

Of the estimated 1.5 million people living with HIV in Uganda this figure was curried out in 2019, around 1.3 million were aware of their HIV status and 1.2 million were on treatment.7 May 2021

Aim of this sensitization program through use of selected village health team. We intend to curry out immunization. treat and educate community members. students through door to door movement. Entertainment like drama and films acting.  

Teaching people and students about Dangers of COVID 19 and engaging into sex before marriage

Teaching students to Concentrate more on studies and focus on the future other than lustfully engage in sex. 

COVID-19 has affected communities physically economically and mentally. Much poverty has made parents marry out their children at early age. This has increased girl child drop out from schools. Early pregnancy and AIDS. 

Parents should not marry out there children at early age and currying out abortion is bad. 

Parent should not abandon there daughters if they get pregnant, that does not mark the end of their future they can continue with studies after delivery.

Solutions to the problem. 

This solution is better because it reaches deep villages since it is going to be door to door campaign and Entertainment. 

Entertainment can be curried out from schools with educative massages. 

It is better than the existing government program because it reaches far people in the village where there not health facilities and people have no transport means to health centers. 

Primary health care data can be collected by the selected village health team. This can help us to know the effectiveness of the program to the people who are intended to benefit from it. 

This is the only platform at which we can use to help our community better compared to the existing method. 

The technology it's hoping to use is testing kits for covid 19 and AIDS. Vehicles to reach far places. Motorcycles reaching remote areas. Public address system for communication purposes. Video cameras for movie acting videos. Laptops for data collection and video editing. Costumes for bringing out real massage to communities. Medical equipments. 

The targeted population are the poor people in rural areas which have no access to health facilities. 

The had to reach area in places where I work and come from are the most affected because of covid 19 and AIDS spread at the highest rate. 

They are under served because health workers doesn't want to work far village due to poor accommodation and less pay by the government. 

The solution to this problem is the design we have proposed through recruitment of village health team qualified to curry out heath services and sensitization program to the had to reach area. 

With this people health can be changed for a better life. 

We the team selected for this program, we are the right people because we are born and leaved with the same community and so we know our problems as far as health care is concerned. 

The village health team are selected people among the community members who have attained education and have not got opportunity to be observed in the health government jobs 

This is the way of engaging the community in the service and currying out data of the affected people to be the first in the program. 

I being the director of the organization it was after my bachelor degree and was very difficult to to get employed That I and friends decided to open up a non government organization with aim of transforming our community in Social and Economic transformation. 

The constraints our organization is having to fulfill the programe is financial. Other necessities can be met as long as we have enough fund to run this program. 

This challenge can help the organization to fulfill its programe effectively. 

Through buying transportation means. Public address system. Laptops. Opening up offices in different districts. Recruitment of VHTs. Salary payments. Medical equipments. Data collectors and Auditors. With this challenges can be met. 

It touches common people who have no hope change in their life. 

It goes direct to the community where health worker doesn't want to reach. 

It involves the community members to work together for the change of their

 lives. It creates employment to the natives of the community those who have acquired education and not observed in service. 

It acts as an example to the policy makers to employ the same model of reaching health care to remote people. 

The impact goals next year is to see that our program have improved the health system the our people.

In the period of five years after carryout impact assessment we can design another project to improve people's livelihood. 

We can measure our progress in the project through using the SWOT analysis. The projects curried out has been successful after collecting data from the community for end result judgement.

We measured the situation of health system provided by the government and saw the gaps left out in terms of health system and we design a program which is ready to give help to the people . 

That's why the organization though of the solution to help our community member by designing a program to improve their livelihood through agricultural Development. 

Every year, our organization presents an annual SDG Progress report, which is developed in cooperation with government and non government institutions, and based on the countries  indicator framework and data produced by national statistical systems and information collected at the regional level.

We curry out workshop and hold symposium with other development partners to discuss way forward and challenges affecting the works we curry out. This when we discuss and agree the potion of the work each should handle. Through this we avoid duplication of work in fields and collision. 

In our organization the theory of Change is used as a tool used to show and prove that short-term changes lead to long-term impacts. It is used primarily in the context of social and and economic problems, but it can be used in any context where human efforts intend change. Theory of Change as a series of linkages, where one thing leads to another, 

Theory of Change model forces the design team to articulate work through carrying out research on the problems affecting people in community. The model helped to improve on the lively hood of people in our community through involving them selves in Agriculture with aim of having enough food in their homestead and selling the surplus  catering for other basic needs. 

This model also helps in identifying linkages between things that are in your control and those that are not. For example the organization had control over the people who where cattle keepers and where not cultivators. But the model helped in changing the community of cattle keepers into food production so the they can have enough food to feed their families. 

Theory of change helps the organization to apply trickle down model of reaching the common person. Water and sanitation campaigns curried out by the organization theory of change helped in sanitizing people from had reach places so that they benefit from the program. It also helped in carrying out the SWOT analysis of project organization found out that its was successful. 

The organization uses/or used the modern technology to effectively curry our services. Some of the technologies we use are laptops and Microsoft soft ware. This includes microsoft word. Excel. Outlook. PowerPoint and clouds. This has helped in collection of data and keeping it safe for future references. 

We could also use programs like Photoshop. Urid. Nero software for taking and editing videos and for sensitization programe for people who not exposed to different media services in the country. 

The organization uses video cameras cameras and SD cards for for talking photos and videos for documenting programe the organization curry out. 

We use projectors and PowerPoint in symposium and workshops to give evidence of the works curried out in communities. 

The organization uses four will drive cars. Minibus and motorcycles to reach had areas which are very difficult to reach as a result of poor roads and heavy rains. 

Organization uses testing kits and thermometers for testing malaria. AIDS. COVID. Typhoid and other diseases before administering medications. 

Data collectors are the selected village health team, these are the qualified people living with in the communities but had no chance to be absorbed in the government health system. 

There incentives are centered by the organization in terms of salary and transport allowance. 

Our organization is gender sensitive when it come to recruitment of worker. We recruit by merit depending on one's qualifications. Nepotism m is not accepted in our organization and this with in our memorandum of understanding. 

We promote regional balance for example recruiting people to curry out sensitization program or village health teams are the people within the community first to be given the opportunity for recruitment. 

This has made the organization successful in currying out its activities and achieving the goals set. Elders are also inclusive in the program because they are the respected people in the community they are useful in sending massages to their people. At the end they are also facilitated by the organization. 

Change for better life model.

 This model is tool used to  improve health and livelihood of the people the organization is intending to. This model has helped in creating change in health, social economic transformation of or people. 

Our model has not only created change but also benefited the youth in terms of the employment and changing their lives too. 

It has done a lot in providing food security to the communities through promotion of Agriculture and teaching people new methods of Agriculture. 

Sensitization of the community on water and sanitation project created a big change to community where by they are enjoying safe water and having pit latrine each homestead. 

The plan of becoming  sustainable or financially stable organization is through soliciting funds from funders. Contracting with other organization including the government contracting funds. 

The organization also survive on funds and donation from the funders.because of the scope of work we do with different programs the organization Handel different projects which are aiming at creating change to peoples lives. 

Our company has the section of Agricultural plantation farming which is acting as the research center for educating communities about new methods of Agriculture. The agricultural center also raises revenue for the keeping of campanile activities. 

The organization has managed to pay its staff and maintaining of organizational activities. The successful activities offered makes other organizations and government to curry out sensitization case studies. 

Water and sanitation project curried in nakapiripirt district with funds from the government of Uganda. 

NUSAF project sponsed by uropean union through the office of the prime Minister.   2012 was a successful campaign because it was intended to teach and supply agricultural products to farmers was also a successful project offered by the organization.
